"I know you've probably heard this quite a bit but... I'm sorry about your son." Hawkwhispers said softly. He didn't really know where else to go with the conversation, he just figured he'd start it somewhere.

Hawkwhispers nodded, a small bob of his head. "Good idea. The Fresh-Kill pile looks like it's getting low." He said. He just didn't want to bring up something too painful for the other tom and hunting seemed like a good distraction.

She lowered herself down onto her stomach. She couldn't stop thinking about Bramblefang. So she stood up and walked slowly over to the den he had shared with his kits and mate. She crouched beside the mound of soil and snow. She touched her nose to the pile and closed her eyes. "I love you."
