Yes I was thinking the same thing. I thought there were to many songs in the episode. I thought that applebloom would ... well be good with apples, sweetie belle would be good at singing and scootaloo would be good at sports and etc. I felt like they should have had their individual cutie marks. But that's just my opinion

They actually are different cutie marks. AB has an apple on her shield, Sweetie has a eighth note, and Scootaloo has a wing. I think that is interesting as if the ever get too old to really relate with foals trying to get their cutie marks they have something else that it means. I am a little surprised by the color choice though.

that is exactly the reason I dislike their cutiemarks. The only CMC who could get away with the color choice is scootaloo because it kinda matches her palette. But for Sweetiebelle and Applebloom they just seem like they don't belong

I also noticed in the episiode pipsqueak (<-is that right? Lol) is the only pony that has brown spots in his coat like a realistic horse or pony.

Honestly, I really didn't like the new episode.
The animation was very awkward in some places, the episode was more like a musical featuring six songs and the cutiemark crusaders got their cutiemarks.
Of course I really don't have a problem if they are blankflanks or not, its just the CMC have helped Troubleshoes figure out his cutiemark and they were still blankflanks but of course they got their cutiemarks after helping Diamond Tiara figure out who she was.
I really don't like their cutiemarks because they seemed forced and really dont match Sweetiebelle or applebloom's palette at all.
They just seem out of place on the fillies.

I'm not trying to start an argument but the reason they got them now was because they realized they had a talent with helping others with their CM's. And the Trouble shoes helped with that. They've done it twice now and they realized that was their special talent and that was what they wanted to do with their life.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee episode 18 was awesome!

I'm so excited to see what happens with the crusaders . I think they might get full episodes to solve identity problems like the main six does friendship or at least go help the main six with friendship problems.

Ok so I liked the episode though I found it a bit rushed I think this plot could be two episodes and I liked some of the songs but unlike magical mystery cure the songs got really distracting and most were forgettable .

I think pipsqueak's cute but he only appears when he needs to be a plot device , ok question is he younger than the crusaders or a is he a dwarf pony

(Sigh) diamond tiara she reminded me of Pacifica northwest from gravity fall most notably in northwest mansion noir which come to think of its all most the same plot down to the whole parents thing I think gravity falls did it better, though I'm ok with here too I wish we saw this development in earlier episodes because it would have made her less of a one Dimensional villain and I would have like the change of heart more because it wouldn't have felt so rushed

I still like this episodes but not one of my favorites

Yes the episode was alright but it was rushed...... Regardless ( and no this does not contain spoilers) I honestly think pip is one of those ponies that.. Skipped preschool and went straight to kindergarten... Think about it.. We all know that one relative that says something like this all the time.... " you sure this is his class? My Winston is a straight A student, knows all his Abcs , and is basically better than every kid his age on the planet. My wonderfully Winston is much too intelligent for this grade level... So I will take this to the school board!And my Winston will begin kindergarten this year.." We all know that hoity toity mother who thinks THIER child is the best. I think pip is one of these parents son.... He is in the same grade as the cmc so ...

Or another theory is pony ville only has one school house for .... Mm.. Let's say preschool through first grade... All the ponies play together and cheerlie is possibly all thier teachers. Being only one room or class.... That's how the plot of the episode could unfold... CLASS president...
