There are three main tasks you must complete in order to tame and care for your new crownie. If these tasks are not completed by December 1st, your crownie will be rehomed.

The task can either be drawn or written, and must be posted on your adopted crownie's page. Written tasks need to be a minimum of 250 words long, while drawn tasks must include color.

Everything must be done by you and cannot be ordered by someone else.


Task #1 - Introduction
Upon meeting your new crownie, its obvious they will need some time to adjust to being in your stables. Get to know them and their behaviors, and try to gain their trust the best you can.

Task #2 - General Care
Your crownie has been neglected as far as specialty care. They need a good feeding, washing, and trimming to improve their attitude. Scrub off the gunk and condition their coats, and dont forget to trim their hooves, teeth, and fins. As for dinner, a nice juicy steak sounds pretty good...or whatever you have lying around at the moment.

Task #3 - Breaking In The Saddle
These crownies have never been ridden or introduced to any kind of tack before. Show your new companion that its not so bad, and take them out for a good trail ride.

A rather nervous mare shifted in her stall, moving all the loose hay on the ground to gather around their feet. Resting my hands on the stall door, I spoke softly to her and turned my head in the direction where the stable hand disappeared. The mare's golden ears pricked up as my voice broke through the silence and dipping her head, she walked towards me. Reaching out with my hand, a small smile grew on my face when the mare gently nipped at my hand. "Um…" A voice interrupted the moment and I shot my hand back to my chest, red quickly spreading across my cheeks. The stable hand with a soft grey halter in one hand, along with the lead rope tangled around his fingers, cleared his throat and handed them to me with an awkward smile. Taking the equipment in my hand, I watched the retreating back of the stable hand for a moment before I opened the stall door to place the halter on the mare and take her to the trailer attached to the back of my car. It took some coaxing with treats but the mare finally stepped into the trailer and I gave her a reassuring pat before making my way into my car, beginning the hour drive back to my farm.

I already had a large collection of Crowntails on my farm and they all raced alongside the fence that was parallel to the driveway when I returned home with the newest member. The stall I set up for Summer was large with a shallow pool in the corner but I never really liked to keep them in there for too long and would rather they be out in the large field. She certainly was a bit of a nervous creature, ears flat on her head and nostrils flared when we stood outside the trailer, the other horses calling to her. "It is alright. Come on" I said and gently tugged on the lead rope. Casting at last look at the other Crowntails, Summer lowered her head slightly and followed me, resting her chin on my shoulder whenever I stopped. She was a sweet thing when she felt more relaxed. I opened the gate to a paddock that wasn't too far from the herd, so they could see and hear each other without fights breaking out as Crowntail herds are lead in a dictatorship style with my bay/ black chimeric stallion, Lucifer being the lead. He was a good stallion but was a tough leader. As I took the halter of Summer, I closed the gate gently and watched the mare move around the perimeter of the paddock before making a beeline to the deep pond that lay under a large willow tree.

It has been a week since Golden Paradise came to the farm and after a little bit of a quarrel, she has slotted into the herd quite well and enjoys when I give her frozen bacon some afternoons when I check up on the herd. She is one of the most energetic of the group, racing with the younger members with inexhaustible energy.
