Shay clenched his teeth and took this opportunity to attempt to bite into its neck. He quickly whipped his head around to wrap his jaw around its scrawny neck.

She backed away, her eyes wide.

The dog

He whimpered and collapsed to the ground.

[Rincon]

Shay unclentched his jaw and panted heavily. "A-are you alright?" He asked out of breath. He coughed, and spit up a clod of blood. He started to sway, a bit woozy from the pain now starting to form on his hind leg. He stumbled a bit before kneeling down.

She dropped the bag and ran to his side. "SHAY!"

[Rincon]

Shay leaned over and peered at the wound. It was deep. He panted as he reached over to clean it. He didn't have much consciousness left considering the amount of blood loss. "Snow," He gasped, "Go get help."

She stared at him in horror. "But you coukd die.." she whispered.

[Rincon]

Shay coughed again, "I'll be fine, (no you're not) just get someone to clean this." He leaned his head down. His eyelids slowly dropping into unconsciousness. "Go, please." He knew the scent of his blood was going to attract unwanted attention, and he wanted her as far away from him as possible.

Snowfall

Leaving him coukd mean his death, alone. She couldn't handle that, not losinf another wolf close to her. She started to lick his wounds, doing the best she can. She was holding back her tears. Her beloved friend needed to survive.

[Rincon]

Shay saw the stray dog stirring into consciousness. "Go!" He harshly barked at her in a final attempt to save her. He groaned in pain, "Please." He didn't want them both to die.

"NO!" She snapped and watched as the injured dog ran off. She looked at Shay. "Im not leaving your side." She whispered and started to lick his wounds again.
