She darted up the path to the house, going as fast as she could to not get caught by... whatever was following her. We need to find out what this thing really is... Maybe someone else on this mountain knows..? While she was thinking, She hadn't realized she slowed her pace... Until she heard a screech only a few yards behind her. Oh no... This can NOT be happening right now... She sped up and barely dodge the creature's attack, only getting a cut in her right arm. I don't think it saw me when I stood still... She continued on until she found a "safe" place to hide. "IS ANYBODY AROUND?!" She yelled before quietly running into the small ditch behind a tree.

She stood up and climbed out of the ditch, Then walked up the path again. Once she got to the lodge, She noticed Chris and Josh weren't around, So she sat on the steps while keeping an eye on the forest around. Zima climbed out of Lauren's backpack and onto her lap. "Hey Zima..." She said quietly, As to not scare the cat.
