☁️ Okay, well I finally had free time today and fixed up my Makoatls pages, including their information- and I am thinking of opening up Oliver here, for roleplay and a possible mate! I am looking for friends and enemies, I do not want to go right into a relationship with him since I get bored faster that way. I would like a very long-roleplay where they are friends and then get into a relationship. Most of my roleplays died when doing it relationship first; and then babies, etc. Note; I have no problem with art based relationships! I just really want to roleplay with him and feel out the personality I have built for him.



Oliver is a very flirtatious, laid-back, and friendly kind of guy. He is always calm, relaxed, and always with the word "dude" and such. He wouldn't snap out of control for someone stealing or threatening him- He would just let it go, as if it never accrued to him. Olive is mysterious if you look at him in a certain way, as to why he's so calm and relaxed all the time. As to why drama doesn't get ahead of him, or even arguments don't seem to budge him one bit. He looks like the type to be a control-freak, or even the one to bully, but instead he's a sweet-loving guy who likes to do nothing, but hang out all day by the beach and surf with his boy pals. Olive lives in a wooden shack out by the ocean, so you can typically just say he burns fire and does camp-fires, surfs all night, and hangs out to see the stars at night time.
Only way to make Olive tick is to take his talent away.

Oliver does not like to himself talk, speak of how he feels, and doesn't do good in relationships where only one does the dancing. He has very hard time with speaking clearly, as he has a lisp and stutters quite frequently over his words, if not thought thoroughly through before talking. With his speech impediment being so bad, he can be a shy closed door boy and not want to speak at all. First encounters are never good for him, but he does warm-up afterward to everyone and soon enough, he is a guy who will hand and give you the world from the very start, if you only ask him first.

To put it as gently as possible: no one has time to make a forum right now, and no one wants to look after a forum.
Mako staff is deeper than staff, we're family. We take a lot of time and deliberation to hire someone. Hiring someone just to run a forum is... well... impractical, and I know it makes more than just me uncomfortable.

And idk about any of you, but I've never seen a successful forum for an adoptable species. They don't last; it's too much effort for naught. The FC is still staying. The legit only difference is that they're being hosted on dA. The only thing it's cutting out is 'impress me' & coding-based forms, and here's a small secret: little to no one on mako staff likes those anyway.

Anyway, just my two cents & probably an indication of why I'm still on break lmao.

My own boys, Francis and Boston have delivered a beautiful young girl into the world. So far I have very little about her figured out. Her name will be Cassandra though and planning on making her a blogger that does DIY projects. Ugh I'm not really sure...

She is the baby of Orpheus (who is owned by Keys to the Sky) and Fara (owned by me). She's currently unnamed as I think of a name for her, but I think she's adorable. I really enjoy her little wing marking that connects to her back fin.

We are making a rehaul of the archive since it is out of date and our current archivist is dealing through a lot of things right now- and MAY be looking into hiring some people in the future. As Graham an Bane sad, our staff group is very close knit and it takes a lot to get a staff to be that way ;w;' So we don't wanna throw people in willy-nilly ;w; <3

I am planning in the future to make a large Free Adoption batch- which may or may not be Halloween/Fall Theme related so keep an I out for that. I have school and other things like breedings to focus on first though ;w; And I've been sick since the send of September l'D
