Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.
Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

Story: -Proof of ownership-
The birds sang their songs and the deer ate their grass, wildlife was going to do what they were born to do: survive. However, in the very same forest were two foxes who dared to do the unthinkable...
"Nuh uh, I'm not crazy like you, there's no way that I'm going to touch a porcupine Luca..."
Numair shuddered at the thought of needles in his paws. His eyes darted from the spiny animal to his friend, horrified to see that she was unfazed and looking more exited than ever.
"You're the one who's crazy, Num num, not many people can say they've safely pet a porkie"
Lucasta casually remarked giving Numair a grin that made him roll his eyes.
"Yeah, there's a reason for that, they all end up with spines stuck in their paws"
he mumbled, sighing at the thought of the future where he was the one pulling out spines from his screaming friend's delicate pawpads. But then he thought of something,"You know what? If you get a single prick from touching that porcupine then I'm not helping you pull it out."
he said smugly, satisfied with the outcome that was to be.
"Oh come on, you really think I can't do this?"
she asked, creaping with the little mammel as it walked."Let me show you how a woman does things, scardy cat"
carefully extending one paw in front of the creature, she prepared to pet it... then let out a yelp."I told you so! But you didn't listen to me, and now you've felt the consequenes of being naïve. How many needles you got?"
Numair smiled at her with a sense of victory, but then frowned at her sly grin."What's that face for?"
he asked.
"Weeeeell, I only yelped because it curled up making some of the spikies move upward and therefore I am not even scathed."
she hapily implied, turning back to the now curled up animal to start again."Anyway, this is the real deal, here it goes on the count of three."
She closed her eyes as if it were to help her."One... Two... Th-"
she opened her eyes expecting to see a ball of spikes to be sitting in front of her only to see that it was not there"Where'd it go!?"
She spun around and caught the laughter in Numair's eyes."What'r you laughing about?"
she demanded.
"Hm, well, since you oh so foolishly decided to close you eyes it got up and wadled away. I guess it just isn't afraid of you"
he was giggling now with the recent memory.
"Wha- ho- okay whatever, we will just have to go after it then"
with the words barly out of her mouth she turned to head deeper into the forest.
"Whoa whoa whoa lady, we need to go back home, as you failed to notice it's getting dark."
Numair trotted up to her and nudged her body to go the other way,"You can show me your porkie wisperer powers tomorrow"
he smirked.
"Bah, I knooow. Let's go then"
she turned back to the well worn trail back home."Oh and by the way Numair?"
"Yeah?"
"I still think you're too sissy to try touch one. Race you back!"
"Wha- Hey! Head starts are no fair and you have longer legs than I do, Luca!"
He ran as fast as he could back home in pursuit of what he considered his big, crazy, naïve, caring sister.
