Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.

Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

STORY
Violix grew up as any normal fox would. She was raised by her mother and father until they grew old and died of age. She had a sibling but it is unknown who the sibling is.

AFRAID?
Violix is terribly afraid of thunder and lightning. Although she does find lightning to be beautiful she also knows it is very dangerous as she has seen a burning field and a few burning trees.

Moving Day

"It's finally the day! We're moving north!" She pranced around and got several stares of wonder. Everyone seemed so... depressed... since the war. But not Violix. Nothing could bring her down. She gathered all of her gems and feathers in a pouch she weaved and she nudged it with her muzzle for the strap to lay on her neck. She started to gather berries. Raspberries her favorite so she gathered them the most. She luckily also found an apple that had dropped and she placed all the berries and the apple in her pouch. Once it was almost full she joined in with the herd. They were all ready and she was too. She was so exited to get north and live near the other clans. It was a new place, new surroundings, and new birds and gems too! At first the journey was slow but then it quickened up. The herd started to move faster and as they approached the bridge that drew near the waterfall and over the rapids. It was a beautiful waterfall but it was very far from the destination to be able to come here when reaching our new home. I was the fox in the way back of course. As I crossed the bridge it seemed... like the bridge wasn't stable. It was cracked and ruptured. As I crossed with care the cracks became wider and larger and all of her vision went blank as she fell into the rapids with the rocks from the now gone bridge.

How I Returned

She awoke on a shore. Coughing up water from the rapids. "No.. no.. no...no no no no!" She was lost. All of her cheery energy faded away. She stood up and looked around. Realizing she had lost her pouch. Her surroundings were not familiar at all and the sun was almost all the way down. Night time was approaching... and so was a storm.
