Tharkja Pond Horses - Taming Event:
What are Tharkjas?:Tharkjas are a new found Horse species. They live in just one place: a little Pond, hidden in a crater between the Mountains. The crater himself is very hard to reach, because you need to climb up a rugged path between the Mountains, so far it is the only way to get inside the crater.
Tharkjas are very shy Horses, nobody has tamed one till now and they run away in the moment they get a climpse on a human. But if someone dare to get near a Tharkja Mare or a Foal, he will soon find himself confronted with a very brutally Stallion. The Mares are calm and friendly, so are the foals, but the Stallions have a very strong protective instinct and try to fight everyone where get's near their Mares and Foals. They fight Humans like cougars and wolves and they are able to kill their enemy without hesitation.
So far Tharkjas have been seen in every Horse coat color and you can find them with Paint, Appaloosa and Brindle Markings. But they have a totally new coat color Marking too, it appears to be a mix between Manchado and Paint marking and looks like clouds melted into the fur. A Tharkja without the, so called: Fog Markings, is very rarely seen and it seems like the Fog Marking isn't ever white, some rare Tharkjas can have colored Fog markings too and some very rare Tharkjas can even have two colored Fog markings.
Some rumors say that they have seen a Tharkja that looks different then the others, it looks like it has a horn on his forhead, but the same time, other people negate that and say that they have seen a Tharkja with 2 curved Horns on the left and right side of his head, like a ram. So far nobody has a evidence and maybe it is really just a rumor...?
What is this Taming contest?
Tharkjas are wild Horses, even if they have an owner. Because of this just a little number of Tharkjas could be tamed till now, even less got a saddle on their back and most of them are still wild and free. We don't want to change that fact, but we thought of something to help you, getting the Tharkja of your dreams and to be able to tame and even ride it. But we need your help, you must try to do your best helping us finding, capturing and taming your favorite Tharkja. Maybe we can find one with a little special. The taming will be affected, based on your wishes, so it can be harder to get your Tharkja if you want it to be a special one. The success can differ from 0% - 200%, how much success rate you will get will be up to you and the % will raise the more you try to help us and the more you try to impress your Tharkja. This taming event is a little rpg like and you will affect all things that can happen and we will see how effective your attempts will be. you don't need to write a novel every time, 1-3 sentences can raise the % too, but just to an certain number, based on the artist and the difficultness of your Tharkja. Even if you don't like RPG you can try to raise your % with art, music, poem etc. all you can think of (try to impress your Tharkja!).
Rules:
- you can decide to play solo or an rpg with the choosen artist
- you can only enter 1 time
- you must ask for an registered artist
- the Tharkja must have fog markings or markings that replace fog (like fire and claw etc.)
- you can wish for all naturell horse colors, but unnaturell colors or colors from other animals will be very hard to get!
- after 100% you will get your Tharkja with the right color and all wished markings, but to raise the % higher you must impress the Tharkja and the Artist
- with 0% you will not get your Tharkja, but with even just 10% you will get a Tharkja, just not the one you want
- no begging
- no spamming
- please be fair
- the Tharkja you are trying for will be posted here with a black silhouette! After the taming is finished your tamed Tharkja will be posted normally numbered on the main thread!
- You will get 2 weeks to tame your Tharkja! the timer will start after your first post under the silhouette
- you can only enter 1 time
