There is so much evidence of Frerard being a thing I am almost certain it was at one point. Just Google image it and there are so many pictures to prove it! Yep, something probably got awkward and they split, but then they got married to their own lovely ladies and... no more Frerard. I still am such a hard shipper of the characters Party Poison and Fun Ghoul though xD

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Frank and Gerard were an item for at least a while. There was always some sort of vibe they put off that made me feel like they might have been something a little bit more than friends. I mean everything they did on stage could have just been for the sake of the show of it but the way they behaved with each other offstage didn't really feel that way, and when you combine that with their onstage antics...

One of those things we'll probably never truly know the answer to though.

I agree. I totally think it was real, because Best friends don't just fall apart like that because a band broke up.

Sometimes they do, though. Trent Reznor and Marilyn Manson used to be super close friends when they were young and did a lot of stuff together musically (Manson was basically kind of a protege of Trent's) and then around '99 they'd had a MAJOR falling out and won't have anything to do with one another now. Lots of artists that were once close friends have fallen out with each other. It happens, so that could just be the case with Frank & Gerard, but there is quite a bit of evidence with them that it might have been something more at least for a short while.

But MCR didn't end on a bad note, so I thought surely it would be different.
But I dunno, they seem happy with the lives they lead now. And that's all that really matters. As much as I'd love to say the past is the past- it's the past that defines us. CX

Also, Brendon Urie and Ryan Ross used to be close friends and Ryan didn't like the direction Panic! Was going in so he left but it upset Brendon, obviously, and now he is very salty about it.

I wasn't under the impression that MCR ended on a particularly bad note, although I do remember at the time they broke up it seemed like Frank was kind of bitter about the breakup or something judging from stuff he wrote online and said in a couple interviews (which I just tried to look up but couldn't find). I don't think he and Gerard necessarily had a falling out after MCR but a lot of people say/think they did and there's no evidence of them still being friends, so.

when you search around the internet, yeah there is a lot of evidence and cute pics of then but maybe they were just such good friends they had a jokey bromance thing. Idk, maybe they were laughing around, doing it for the crwod, and the live looks they give each other almost seem to me like true friends looks. I feel like they were just really good friends with a bit of a bromance. Idk though, I don't really ship people that much (ha lies) but ship away people, its fun for me to read c:

I wasn't saying it did. To be 100% honest I don't really follow any of the MCR guys closely on social media anymore (except I follow Gerard on Instagram) and I don't do twitter at all, so I may a little out of the loop of their relationships. I was just theorizing based on what DestructionIsHere said about friendships not just dissolving over a band breakup and saying it can and does happen, not that it was necessarily what happened to Frank & Gerard. I don't know what's up with them and I don't really care. I've never really followed the personal lives of people in bands I like much. Their relationship is between them and I still like and respect them both artistically regardless.

You can't really be sure about anything though, unless you know them personally or have heard something straight from them, you can't really know what their relationship is really like now or ever has been, for that matter. But it's fun to theorize and here other fans' perspectives sometimes.

Yeah. I like the idea of then having been a thing, but it's there lives. And me thinking it was sorta cute will be as far as it will go. XD
I honestly think Gee and Lyn are the cutest thing ever. And the things Gee says about Bandit are soooo cute. Like he watches the same shows I watch with my nephew. >w<
