BrackenPaw's head jerked around,and her face fell in horror.Long peachy hands reached down to her,and the she-cat tried to run,but instantly tripped.BrackenPaw's amber eyes traced the forest in horror,unable to do anything as long skinny hands reached down to her,and pushed her figure into a kind of small enclosure."HEEEEELP!TWOLEGS,NOOO!"she screeched,raking her claws and ramming her way in the enclosure,trying to find her way out.

Spottedstar sighed. She was in her den, thinking about what Brackenpaw had just told her. She figured the clan would like to know, but Spottedstar just curled in a ball and closed her eyes, hoping the good rest would put her mind at ease.

BrackenPaw screeched in wail,hoping anyone could find her.Giving the most force powered lung breaking scream,it exploded.Surely they could hear that?

Spottedstar sat straight up. She thought she heard something. She almost dismissed the thought, but then remembered what happened the last time she did that. Spottedstar didn't want another cat gone. (Don't worry she won't save Brackenpaw) SHe ran into the forest as fast as she could, staring in horror as a twoleg lifted a cage off the ground- a cage that contained Brackenpaw! "Brackenpaw!" she yelled, her voice terrified.

BrackenPaw banged onto the cage helplessly,screaming at SpottedStar."SpottedStar!"

Spottedstar leaped up, clawing the bars of the cage harmlessley. "Brackenpaw, I won't let them get you!" she screamed, clawing furiously at the twoleg, who was yowling like a kit. The twoleg suddenly smacked Spottedstar in the side, knocking the air out of her. "Brackenpaw!" she yowled helplessly. She had no strength left to save the young she-cat.

The cage lurched forward,her head banging on the solid metal bars that were gleaming evilly.Her eyes only flashed once,and she fell,slumping to the cage floor.

Spottedstar whimpered as she saw Brackenpaw hit her head on the gleaming metal bars. Summoning all her strength, Spottedstar hauled herself upwards, lunging one last time at the twoleg, raking her claws across the twoleg's chest. Satisfaction welled up inside her as blood bubbled out of the twoleg's wound. The twoleg was very angry now. Screeching, the twoleg kicked Spottedstar. Surprised, Spottedstar yowled in pain as she got slammed up against the tree. Gritting her teeth, she managed to say a few more words before she lost conciousness. "Brackenpaw... Don't let the twolegs kill you..." then everything went black.
