Lavia looked around when she heard a meow, it was Zariah! "Hey! Hey kitty!" She called the cat over to her. She heard talking in the distance (Emily) and looked to see if she could see anyone. "Hello?" She called out.

Mia sniffed around trying to find a scent of anything that could still be alive. She didn't want to be alone, she had never been alone before. "Hello?!" She barked, and listened for a reply.

Zariah: I heard a familiar voice and remembered it was the pretty lady who always gave her bathes with pretty smelling shampoo, I meow louder and followed her voice. I saw a hole in the pile of debris and carefully looked in side, the pretty lady was in there. I keep meowing not know how to help or what to do.

Lavia reached out to the cat and pet her head. "Hey kitty." She smiled feeling a little better with the cat there. Lavia searched for a way to get out of her cage of ruble. She pushed the walls to try and find a week area she could brake through. When she did she quickly climbed out of her trap and looked around. Her heart sank when she saw what was on the surface of the ruble.

Zariah: as the pretty lady petted my head it brought back memories, the good ones of the nice lives we once did lived. As she crawled out of the hole, I saw her reaction to the devastation that took over the place where we once called home. I meowed softly and rubbed my body against her legs reassuringly.

Lavia felt tears form in her eyes. She didn't know what to how to think, her senses were all being over worked. Lavia felt Zariah rub against her leg and she looked down. She gave a little smile and bent down petting the cat. "Good cat." She muttered. Lavia looked around to see if she could see or hear anyone else that could have survived.

She rips a piece of her shirt, pulling the glass piece out and screaming in pain. She wraps the shirt around the wound, tears still running down her cheeks, she stands up. Almost falling down she ends up catching her balance, and limping to the side of the street. She looks around, hoping to find someone.

Zariah: i sat next to the pretty lady, and my ears flicked at a voice in the distance. i meowed and stood up, walking towards the voice but stopped to see if the lady was going to follow me.

Lavia watched as Zariah padded away, then looked back at her. "You want me to follow?" She asked. Lavia then started to follow the cat. "I hope you know were you're going." She said to the cat. She didn't want to get lost and never find a way back it a search and rescue team came.

Jay was staggering around what used to be his neighborhood with heavy feet. He didn't really know how to react to everything that had just happened. Suddenly he heard a scream and turned his head to see if he could find anyone. He saw a person ways away from him and he started running. 'Another survivor!' He thought. The thought that he wasn't the only one gave him hope. He got to the other person and saw it was a teenage girl. "Are you alright?" He asked the young girl. He could see she was hurt and wanted to help her.
