It's totally fine to be nervous, it's a stressful yet exciting experience!
Pay close attention to class calls so not to miss anything. Have a spread sheet of all the models in all their classes so you can keep track of who has already gone and who you need to bring up next. Bring colored pencils, magic eraser, cloth, pens, ect. in case of accidents and if any ponies need touch ups. Lay out your index cards for the classes either in order, or with the horses they go with so you're not scrambling for cards when a horse needs to go up.
And have fun! Live shows are awesome! Doesn't matter how much you win, it's a really fun learning experience. Make sure to ask the judge why a horse didn't place so you know to adjust a breed or if there's a flaw you didn't catch c:
