Hey guys, just a heads up- Adoptions will be on a slight hold for a little bit. I bit off more than I can chew and hopefully I can find some guest artists. ^^

I am going to stream putting up the new Clovenburg customs event!
It'll be from scratch so bear with me! And if you're in the stream, you can hand out ideas and fun projects to do!
I also *might* work on some adoptive clovenburgs, but I'm actually gunna work on a guest artist event too!

So, would anyone care to join me?

The customs event is here: Click

Feel free to give me some opinions on it please! Who all is thinking they want to enter?

I plan on entering, just need to figure out what I want design wise <3
Unless I post somewhere, I'm not selling/trading closed species critters.

Hello everyone, I'm iStarz & Everly, you can all call me Starz or iStarz if you feel the need to be formal. Everly is the name of my baby girl who is still in my tummy, and you might catch me talking about her at times. Anyways, some of you might know me from Bear Run Tolters where im an active member or Northern Valkreins where I'm part of the staff! I love adopts and Sim type adoptables and I have quite a few of many species.

Since I'm doing the custom contest, I'd like to take a bit of this post to complete my final two tasks :)

A few things I live about this species is how every one ends up being a 'impress me' type competition after the initial adoption as they have all the training tasks to complete. I also love the lines and how they are off oekaki, which isn't often seen here on CS. I love how they have their long tails and how Orchid developed this species into a working breed!

Some coats I would like to see are the following:

- Champagnes
- Grullo
- Duns
- Bright Bay
- Red Dun
- Silver Black
- Chocolate Palomino

Markings I would love to see are:

- Frame Overo
- Roaning
- Tobiano
- Few Spot Appaloosa
- Maximum Sabino

Thanks for reading,
iStarz & Everly

@iStarz hey! another Bear Runner coming over to Clovenburg! C: <3
and whoa Speckled, that art looks absolutely stunning! I love that expression, so realistic c:

Might as well introduce myself while I'm here!
I'm SunsetPatches, and you can call me Sunny (or whatever you like if you feel like being original! cx). Like iStarz, I spend a lot of my time hanging around Bear Run (with my herd of a million tolters c8) and also WMEs. I love to draw and write about my characters, especially over on my DA, and once I get my first Clovie I'd love to roleplay them with someone if anyone's game!
I'm hoping my first Clovenburg will be my custom entry, Skorri! I'm still working on my tasks for her, but she'll be a bit of a spitfire so it should be interesting c;

I love that Clovenburgs are a species you have to put a little bit of effort into to own - I always loved that about Neravontiis but never got around to joining them - not to mention the two unique genes are super pretty. The lines by Neara are a total standout, too - such a kind eye, and they look just as muscly and powerful as a working horse should!

And here are my coat suggestions for later! C:
-Sooty flaxen chestnut
-Dunalino or dun with a cream gene on any base
-Psuedo double dilutes, if that would be allowed? (nCr nPrl)
-Chocolate roan silver, maybe with tabby on top!
-Pintaloosa with leopard spots
-Rabicano on a dark coat, maybe a grullo c:
-Bend-or/birdcatcher spots maybe?
-Mahogany bay
-Greys

Hey all!

@iStarz Welcome to Clovenburgs! I love the suggestions you have for coat colors and I also love the design you made for your custom! I look forward to seeing it on the official lines! <3

@Speckled - Ahh, Clover is very cute! <3 The lines are amazing as always.

@Sunset Welcome to Clovenburgs! Skorri is adorable, and I think Sports would suit her! So cute. <3 I also love some of those coat suggestions, but I don't think pseudo double dilutes are going to be available for Clovenburgs, since cremello
and perlino don't show. I may be wrong, though!

Now that replies are done, I'd like to introduce myself!

I'm Chrissy, and I am officially a moderator for Clovenburgs! So far I own one Clovenburg, Cherry Cordial.

I am also participating in the custom event, so I will have a handsome sooty bloody bay stallion to join Cherry. <3 I love Clovenburgs, and I think that's because of the long tail and the amazing lineart designs are on. <3

Since I am participating, I too would like to give some coat suggestions!

- Snowflake Appaloosa, perhaps with leopard spots instead
- Honey Roan
- Grullo Overo
- Blue Roan Pintaloosa
- Black with light tiger striping

I'm Bears, because my username is more often Mother of Bears, but you can call me August as well. I just discovered this species, and I think they're darling <3

Hey guys, I'm iShame and i've gone by Shame and Shemy for the last year. I've had previous usernames along the lines of Pucca-Lover, and my first username of abcd222 <-- because i was so creative 5 years ago. I honestly dont even remember how i came to be iShame, but thats alright.

My favorite thing about Clovenburgs has to be the amount of work thats put into them. While for a lot its a huge turn off, and it can be a bit daunting, but its definitely worth it. I finished my first Clovenburg, Mesa's training this morning even though i've had her for almost a month, but im waiting on denial/approval to make it official.

My current Clovenburgs are Mesa and Moxus; both of which i really like. I love Mesa's paint on such a dynamic coat, and as for Moxus i have an undying love for Grullo colored horses, no matter how simple.

A few colors i think would be interesting to see in Clovenburgs are more pangare's/mealys, sorrels, duns, bays and perhaps even a roan

Im hoping to work on the art i owe to others tonight, and maybe even do some art of my own Clovenburgs. ^^

    Hey guys :3

Just wanted to pose a question for those who are able to do art, I am in dire need of art for the custom event but I can't do it so I was told to come see if any of you fellow CB members would be able to help me out with the art? I have the design played out already and hopefully it won't be too difficult. If anyone is interested in helping me out just pop into my PM box! ^.^

    Hello, hello!
My name is demonthief. but you may call me demon if it is easier for you, I don't mind. I have followed this species for a few months and I was able to get my own a little while ago. At the moment I only own Alaricus and have yet to train him but will do so after the event. Even though it is a lot of work to own one, I really do enjoy writing up the tales and I love the detail in the species' information.
I would like to see some more duns and roans or maybe some more uncommon paint markings on dark coats. What I would love to see though, would be some more flaxen phenotypes like a flaxen liver chestnut.
