Featherheart glanced at Doeleap before nodding her head. Featherheart out the honeycomb where Doekeao had said to put it. Featherheart turned and looked back at Doeleap. "Well... Whitefire seams to be acting a bit weird. You remember how he acted when he wasn't chosen as deputy."

"Well, yeah, but every cat has an off day at least once in their lifetime. Maybe that was just a bad day," Doeleap suggested.

She nodded slowly. "I haven't see him in a while, is he doing better?" Featherheart asked curiously. "maybe I'm just worring to much... But even on a bad he shouldn't have attacked a kit." Featherheart thought flicking her tail.

Mangled started at the scowling cat, and started to slowly inch toward her.

"Oh, okay," Cream said.

Doeleap nodded. "He's doing better, except..." she trailed off, looking away.

Silverkit's scowl shrank. "What yous doing?"

Cream frowned. "Wait. What do you fight? There are only pet cats nearby."

"And the main things you would fight would be enemy Clans and foxes, right? There aren't any enemy Clans that live here." Cream mewed, "so foxes are really all you have to worry about. I used to have to worry about lots of things, like..." --he shuddered-- "..Vet. Or V-E-T, as the housefolk like to call him. It doesn't matter; I can spell that word."

Featherheart tilted her head. "Exocet what?" Featherheart asked a bit of worry flashing in her eyes.


Ivykit

Ivykit looked around the nursery bored. She didn't know where everyone was, and she didn't know what to do. Ivykit decided to pad out of the nursery to have her own adventure. "I know! I can find dad! I bet he will be happy to see me out all by myself! Maybe he can play a game with me!"

Doeleap sighed. "Well, Whitefire came home from hunting with claw marks on his face. Deep claw marks. He refused to tell me what made them, but they look like cat scratches, from a HUGE cat. Bigger than him."

Cream shuddered once more. "Ugh. Foxes and Vet; nearly the same thing."
