so, i started reading the manga for Ushio and Tora, a manga that serialized in the early nineties and became an anime around the same time. they just remade it, and i honestly fell in love so much that it's probably a threat to my top five. i've been watching the remake (it follows the original plot, i think they just wanted to make it look nice and modern) but i couldn't wait another week for the next episode and the manga is. so. good. i really have a love for yokai and demons and supernatural genres and i just [happy whale noises]
tora and ushio working together is so amazing, and i could elaborate but its one of those things that you can ramble on about forever

theres a kinda trend of similar mangakas (theres like two ha) but they're all really good mangas

What was the least interesting/"worst" anime you saw?

Um I really hated Inuyasha and Sword Art Online.I find them both to be like... astonishingly bad

And as much as I love some of the seasons of Tenchi, other seasons were SO BAD.

ALSO High school of the Dead was insanely disappointing? I had such high hopes for it but it ended up being pure garbage

The Persona 4 and Drammatical Murder anime were GARBAGE which is a shame because they came from great source material. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy

Those are the ones that immediately come to mind. Also I tried to watch this one adventure anime on Netflix and it was so bad I don't even remember the name so LOL that doesn't help much

What is the least interesting/"Worst" anime you saw?

Some mention of pg-13 stuff:

I really didn't like Rosario+Vampire
I watched the whole series
only god knows why
And found the plot very boring
characters bland
WAAAY too much boob and pantie shots
honestly, if you want boobs and underwear just watch hentai.

I also disliked SAO
the first half of the first season was okay
but kirito is such a womanizer it's not even funny
honestly, the plot was a great idea
but the way they did it
completely
sucked.

What was the least interesting/"worst" anime you saw?

Another. Another was somewhat entertaining at least but, it had info dumping every half of an episode. The dumps were pointless too considering there wasn't any foreshadowing and just the most random person was the extra "student" . The main character didn't even have any qwirks to his character to make him somewhat enjoyable when he asks all this questions - literally the only point to have him here. I found some of the deaths to be kinda unrealistic too. For me this is the definition of horror anime as sadly a lot are like this.(maybe not the exact problems but poor writing is the main point) Still better than moe though.I could go on but eh, on a tablet. the end.

What was the least interesting/"worst" anime you saw?
Akaneiro in Somaru Saka was by far the most disppointing anime for me. The art style was wonderful and the character designs were very unique. Visually at any rate. Their personalities became more and more so cliche as the series progressed. *Cough cough SAO cough cough* At first, the plot was rather sweet and had plenty of potential. Then it progressed and all sense of realism and boundaries ceased to exist as the show slowly turned into a fan service incest hub. The ship that had been slowly and sweetly been developing throughout the series was suddenly tossed out the door because what do you know? Suddenly this is a harem. And the sister is the dominant love interest. Wait what? It came out of no where and it forced the original. MAIN CHARACTER completely out of the picture.

What was the least interesting/"worst" anime you saw?

SAO. it .... angered me to no extent. the characters, the plot, the entire world had so much useable potential, but they let it all go to waste over a stupid, cliche, damsel in distress situation. I mean???? Asuna was supposed to be this kick butt character and they reduced her to nothing when the main conflict came into play. I hate, no i abhor that. With all the extremities that they had at their fingertips, all these tropes and unique ideals and it was wiped. in 13 episodes.
I cant be the only one who thought Sword Art Online's game world was completely mesmerizing. A huge, exploitable world with a dark shadow looming over those who were stuck inside. They could have wrung that world dry it was that big. It was so rushed that SAO's world was gone in a blink of an eye and cast away for a fairy world.

I can't even begin to explain how interested i was in the mechanics. Buying property? Love it. Tell me more. Oh, no? Just going to destroy the entire thing instead. Kay.
I even had the mistake of watching the second season. and it basically repeated itself. Again. Gun Gale, I think it was called, had a very nice ring to it. Really cool shoot em up game, but it was gone. in 13 episodes. I don't understand who is coming up with these worlds and is taking them for granted because hoo boy, i can tell you just about any writer would kill for that kind of idea to just come to them to the point where it would be disposable. I didn't even bother with the rest of the anime, i dropped it right when Gun Gale was abandoned.
I think SAO was really the only anime I've ever watched that I've had such issues and complaints with. Sure, I'll run into others, but jeez! who does that??
I'm sort of apologetic to those who are fans of SAO, because there are plenty of 'person in a strange world' animes that could curb stomp SAO into oblivion. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
