Ravenkit raised an eyebrow again, staring as Brightpaw stumbled wth Melodykit out of the nursery. Shaking his head in utter confusion, he stood, stretching out luxuriously with a wide yawn to follow, the black hairs sling the spine of his back lifting slightly. Finally he followed out after Brightpaw and Melodykit, his eyes still showing a very faint trace of drowsiness within them due to his late night and fight with Featherkit. He sighed silently to himself, taking a glance back at the nursery, were his only sister slept soundly in her nest. It killed him, knowing that she had been right last night. Things had changed between them, and he was afraid to hurt her if he fought with her like he used to. But how could he not think like that?

"Well we need only one more to join then we can leave,"Dappleheart stated. She was tempted for it just to be them but if they ran into trouble they would need someone. The golden she-cat padded over to the warriors den and let out a mew,"Anyone want to join a border patrol?"

Fallenpaw let out a purr,"Do you have feelings for Silverpaw? I saw you laying next to her."
Robinpaw felt his ears grow warm and he looked at his light golden tan paws. "Fallenpaw you just had to ask. I'm not sure...I like her but I have time to sort my feelings out. I was laying next to her because she was having a bad dream."

Fallenkit blinked open her eyes sleepily, a tuft of fur on her nose blocking her vision. Ravenkit was gone from his nest and she had heard Brightpaw's voice which had woken her up. She wondered why they would leave the nursery before sunrise and she wondered if she should follow them. Her mind fought against the right thing to do which would be, stay in her nest, and her mind won as she silently got up and walked out of the nursery entrance, sneaking through the shadows after the scent of the others. She knew she would be in big trouble if she was caught but her curiosity won her over and she kept walking.

Brightpaw set down Melodykit to explain and caught something out of the corner of her eye. "Get back to the den, Fallenkit. The rest of the clan isn't up yet." The pale-furred apprentice turned back to Ravenkit. "Last night at the Gathering, Heathersong the LeafClan medicine cat got up and announced that StarClan had chosen special cats to defeat DarkClan." She paused a moment to allow the strange information to sink in. "One of those cats was you."

IceClan

Skystar stood in the cold until Nightfall padded out of the warriors den looking a bit surprised. "Come on," she meowed gruffly. "Pinewhisker is already in my den." The striped leader turned and made her way to her small ice cave. After a moment's hesitation, Nightfall followed.

RockClan

Whiterunner nodded wisely. "That's understandable." He took a step in the direction of the camp entrance. "Shall we go now?"

Gracepaw lifted her head and yawned. She and Ashwhisker had stayed up extra late tending to the wounds created by the unexpected battle. She had only gotten a couple hours of sleep and the sun was already coming up. The sun was coming up! Gracepaw jumped to her paws and scrambled out of the medicine den. Hopefully Shinelight was awake soon. They had a meeting to get to. Thankfully Graypaw wasn't around to discourage her from going.

Ravenkit tilted his head when Brightpaw told Fallenkit to go back to sleep. He hadn't even realized she had gotten up, had she been trying to stay hidden? Shrugging to himself, he was about to ask, yet again, where they were going, but she continued on, telling him he was supposed to help defeat Darkclan. Being one of the oldest kits, he understood what she was talking about, even though he whole-heartedly wished he didn't. "Brightpaw." He stared at her, again, like she was crazy. "I'm a 4 and a half moon old kit with no training experience," because no one will teach me. He grumbled grumpily in his head. "I dont see how in the name of Starclan I'm much help." Finally, after a moment, he sighed in relent. "Fine, can we at least eat before we go? I'm starving!"

Shinelight spotted Gracepaw over by the medican cat den. She padded up to her and said, "Are you ready to go?" Shinelight herself was very exited.He wanted to see why she had been chosen for such a task. Smoothstone was a warrior now, so she would not have to worry abouyt training at least. She also wanted to know how these cats expected her and the other chosen cats to defeat Darkclan. Where they part of something bigger that would destroy them once and for all? Shinelight cleared the thought as she looked back down at Gracepaw.

Silvertail stifled a smile of amusement but it quickly faded as she yawned and continued to frown as they walk. Her paws crunched on leaves and twigs, she even got pierced by a thorn once, but her paws were so numb she could feel it. The fur on her neck was standing up as she forced herself not to stop and to keep going.

Fallenkit heard Brightpaw tell her to go back and she started to, her tail drooped low, dragging across the ground, but then she started to hear what she told Ravenkit and Melodykit and she halted. She pricked up her ears to try to hear what she was saying and soon she creeped back up through the shadows again to listen. Chosen for what? She questioned herself but then shook her head at herself and listened once again.
