chesapeake padded to the alpha's den after a small patrol, wanting to tell gust he smelt the fall pack on their territory. he peered into the den, opening his mouth to speak, choking on his words as he saw cinnamon laying on the floor, crying. “are you alright, cinnamon?” he asked, slowly walking closer.

Kaz smiled softly. "I'm the male beta for Rise. I don't have a mate, so there is no female." He said. This made things even worse, he was a high rank in his pack and she was a hunter in hers. He knew Alana would never approve of this and that he'd have to hide it, but he knew suddenly he wanted to be with this fae. And although it seemed odd as they'd just met, he knew it was what he wanted.
