The Charlie is older than Asterpaw argument...
Well, cat ages are different. At a young age in our years, they're mature enough. Charlie doesn't seem to be crazy old either, so it could work out :3

What really perturbs me is that there's been multiple illusions to Charlie acting as a maternal figure to Asterpaw in the short time he's been in the city. I guess that's been taken as romantic as well? Which means I haven't done my job right.
