Chishiki belongs to Wolphee.
Smoke.E. wolf hummed thinking about his past as he took a walk thinking about not just his past but his original name...Smokenstein Englesberg. Though he himself Smoke. E wolf due to past issues with his family... he wandered away from his cottage in the woods and found himself near an old mansion. "Why does my mother always make me visit in october? I know it's the old man's birthday.." he sighed to himself and looked around to be sure no one was watching. Earlier he had told his new family. His mate Hunrietta and their children. That he would be more comfortable if they stayed home. Smoke was often hesitant to use any money he got, because of his parents. But no one knew. Right before he knocked on the old door, it creaked open slowly. "Step forward and take caution" a voice called. "For those who may enter, may never return" Smokey rolled his eyes. He'd forgotten how into the spirit they got around Halloween. They hated trick or treaters, the mansion and spooky voice was usually enough to chase younger kids with their parents away. But sometimes the reckless teenager would come in. Smokey growled dodging traps. Though his reaction time was almost too slow. He blinked and caught sight of an axe glimmering in the dark. Jeez. He picked up a sword from one of the previous traps and yelped as a net caught him. "GAH, a new one?!" he hissed and the dispatched looking bride holding the axe came out from the shadows. It was a wolf that didn't look too different from Smokey. "Smokenstein? " she asked. "Oh, I thought you were another trick-or-treater come to spoil your father's birthday." Smokey growled. "Do you think perhaps this is why I don't like visiting near my Father's birthday?" The wolf chuckled lightly a bit nervous.
"Victoria, you could just tell the trick-or-treators to leave." a voice called. Victoria pouted but nodded lightly. "Yes dear. Your son is here." she said cutting Smoke free from the net before turning the light on. Smoke fell to the ground and got up, dusting himself off he looked around. "I see you're still using real spiders as decoration." he said lightly. "I'd think with the rumors about us that there wouldn't be any trick-or-treaters at all." The older man in a wheelchair chuckled and wheeled over. "Ah Smoke. You have no idea. The more kids know, the more they want to come to see if it's true." Smoke looked dubious and stared at his father. "well..you have stopped doing experiments....haven't you?" The man looked a bit upset. "..Yes, I'm afraid I am too old to continue my studies. But I have found another wolf who can continue them, be my successor." he gestured towards a corner of the room. "Come, come here, Chishiki. Smoke's eyes widened and he nearly choked. He had not seen Chishiki in years. He stared as the wolf stood up and walked over. "Ah, Smokenstein." he smiled a bit..he looked like a doctor, not unlike Smoke's father had...Smokey blinked and folded his ears back..."so you're continuing my father's experiments?" Chiskiki blinked and smiled simply. "Your father is a wise man, Smokey. A scientist. We learn how the body works so we can better its performance." Smokey folded his ears back and looked around. "Better it's performance..." Smokey muttered. "after destroying another's." Chishiki frowned and adjusted his glasses. "All of our subjects have volunteered themselves. You need not be concerned they are in good hands...And perhaps, someday I will be able to build a child, that thinks and feels like regular children." Smokey blinked.."Create? why not just have children yourself?!" The wolf raised a brow. "I do, but there are those wolves that cannot have children. Wolves who suffer nerve damage. Perhaps even from birth. It is our goal to figure out the source of these problems that regular doctors cannot find-"
"Wait. You have children and you're still hosting these experiments?" Smokey frowned...His father was turning his friend into him. No. Worse than him. Chishiki was too calm. In fact...The longer Smokey stared at him, he felt like he seemed amused. "You're both mad...." he looked at his mother. "And you too...you catch these wolves for their experiments, don't you? then you wipe their memory." Victoria looked down...."It's...for a good cause, son." Smokey shook his head...."I cannot believe I used to think like you." he headed towards the door. "Ah- Smokey wait~" Smokey blinked and stopped, a large axe had fallen and shaved part of the fur on his back. He glared at the wolves in the mansion. "If you expect me to come again next year, I expect all of these traps to be removed." He hissed before walking out. "Perhaps I should warn him about the yard traps too..." Victoria mumbled. Smokey's father he was named after waved his hand dismissively. "He'll discover 'em soon enough. And if he doesn't. He doesn't. He's a clever boy."
