she nodded with a sigh.what paige had said really got to her.was she too clingy and protective?she would try not to be clingy and protective....at least she knew damien only thought of paige as a sister.

Chris smiled.
"They're not really siblings, just my friends. I was never much of a girly girl, and my father raised me to become a stuntman. Then you don't get many female friends. When I was little, there was just one girl I frequently hang with with. Jessie. She was just like me, except that she prefers cars over motorcycles."

Paige scoffed and folded her arms in front of her chest "Family's are dysfunctional sometimes." she muttered in response, tapping her foot in annoyance.

Lovino nodded "Ah seems reasonable.. Seems fairly normal actually, that must've been nice no?"

Chris nodded.
"Yeah, just the move was annoying. We moved from a small village to the big city. That was different. I couldn't do the stunt I did before, but I did get in contact with freerunning and street football."

Lovino made a noise "Really? Where are you originally from?" he asked curiously "I don't really know where I'm from." he added with a small shrug.

"Some small village in Texas." Chris casually answered. "Really? Did you never learn that? Did your parents never tell you?"
Then she smirked.
"Or did you perhaps grow up here?"

Lovino shook his head "I really don't know." he said with a shrug of his shoulders "Mum left went I was five and dad was a drunk who wandered into the forest one day and never came back so I didn't ever get the chance to ask."

Chris widened her eyes.
"Jeez! That's some hard stuff for a kid. Is there anything I can help with? I mean, I am an adult..."

Lovino shrugged again "It's alright, that was years ago. I mean I practically raised Paige the best I could and we turned out fine." he answered "I'm an adult now too, twenty"

Chris sighed relieved.
"Good riddance. I have never been too good with raising stuff." She laughed. "I mean, I drowned my pet fish two years ago."
She hoped a good joke could get the sad topic away.
