I've had this species for a while(long before I posted them on CS), but I thought they mite be in need of a revamp! Most likely doing their lineart with sai though - this canvas is too small!



Characteristics:

- Feathers atop head, on rump, and occasionally on their legs/paws.
- Small front paws used to rip the bark off trees.
- Raptor-like back claws.
- Three claws in back not including raptor claw.
- Star-shaped pupil (always the same)
- Long thin tail (tip feathers are a very rare characteristic)
- So smol
Other:

- Chirp to one another when speaking.
- Can breath a strange colored mist to scare off attackers
- Blood is white
- Eat a specific insect native to their habitat that provides the fuel for their colored mist
- Omnivores
- Mate once every three months but have litters up to five or more per breeding
- Not all Pipsqueaks are loyal to their mates, but loyal mates have larger litters
- Are more closely related to mammals than birds or reptiles
- There is no distinction between genders- all are androgynous and posses the same set of sexual organs
- Tail is used as a social tool, as Pipsqueaks wave their tails to greet others and will often smack their tails at other Pipsqueaks to challenge them
- If a Pipsqueak challenges another and wins, they will be awarded larger territory

Note; this will be an open species for uncommon and common characteristic Pipsqueaks - very uncommon and rare/very rare/legendary charatiristic Pipsqueaks will NOT be open to the public to create - they will be done by artists.
