Upcoming Rarity Changes Discussion

I was initially unhappy about winding up with 4 duplicates of this guy, but now that the rarities have been revealed I'm glad I didn't do a bunch of random litter swaps because he wound up being one of the two uncommon outcomes for that litter.

Rarity can change during the years or once it is assigned it stay that forever? I mean, a common in -example- 2015, could become rare some years later?

Commons from 2015 will slowly turn rarer in the coming years, because in the coming years more people will have joined, so that's less of the pet to go around compared to when the pet was released. But it'll take several years, like I'd guess 2025 or something like that.

One of the Guy Fox rats from 2009 went from rare to uncommon. That's all I've noticed.

yay! one of my butterfly wolves went rare! I only traded an uncommon for it. how lucky! ^^ and I'm so glad the only butterfly wolves I still need to collect are Very Rare-omg so rare
these are pretty unlikely to change in rarity so... there should be no regrets in trading for them.

very curious as to when the store corgis will go very rare. I've been waiting for it for a while. Wow, people really bought massive amounts of them

Yeah, pets that change this closet to the 18th almost always go back down haha. Surprised to see it's actually rare enough to be an omgsr, though!
