Zoe nodded "Yeah I'm a big fan of Harry Potter and well I loved gryffindor ever since I heard of it but the other houses are cool too!" she said the last bit mainly just because he might not get into gryffindor too and she didn't want him too feel bad about it.She then heard Michael and guessed it was him and wished him luck as she watched him walk up to be sorted,she couldn't really hear the hat until it shouted 'hufflepuff' and heard their table cheer for him.She smiled at him as he sat down and she heard him yell to her and she walked over hoping the head master wouldn't say anything "Way to go!" she said happily and high fived him,this was going to be a good year for her already now that she had Michael as a friend especially.

Seeing that Zoe was caught up in other things, Michael got up and began to move around, staring at everything in sight. Maybe someone would strike up a conversation with him, or maybe not; he didn't care, to be honest. His house pet was a badger, right? He always thought badgers were cool.

Blake's head spun around when she heard a voice address her. "Thanks! My name's Blake..but you already knew that..." The new Slytherin laughed nervously. She hadn't been great at making friends so she didn't want to mess this up. She hoped she wasn't weird in anyway to the other girl but she probably already looked forgetful. The other girl seemed to be distracted though as she looked back to the sorting. "You waiting for someone to be sorted?" Blake asked curiously as she looked in the direction Swifteekl was looking at. There were still many students get to be sorted and she saw when many rushed to their tables many of their friends were cheering. Blake wished she could make friends like that easily. She sighed quietly as she watched a brown haired girl and blonde hair boy embrace each other.

"No my summer was definitely more boring without you!" Hunter chuckled as he picked up his friend in a hug. Spinning in circles would be hard because of all of the people and how close the tables were together but he held her up in this position as she gleamed down at him. "I missed your smile and staring into those Crystal blue eyes full of wonder." Hunter grinned not being able to stop. Eventually after a couple moments of everyone staring at them, he put her down. He still was hugging her though as he ignored her question about being gone. He would tell no one about the incident, he barley could even believe it himself. He wanted to tell himself it wasn't real but it was real and it had happened right before his eyes. A tear trickled down his face as his smile faded away.

Swifteekl nodded as Blake replied to her, giving a polite smile. Shifting, she pulled her feet over the bench so they weren't in the aisle. She looked back over as Blake asked her a question. Shaking her head gently, she glanced on last time at the sorting hat, before looking back over at the girl sitting across from her. "No, I'm here alone for now. My brother'll be coming to Hogwarts in a couple years, though." She said, tilting her head slightly and nodding. She ignored the cheering as another student's house was called out, sounded like Gryffindor. She offered another polite smile to the girl. "What about you?" She asked.

"Oh I already have two older siblings here." Blake nodded calmly for Swifteekl attitude well...calmed her. Blake wasn't so nervous about standing out anymore. She pointed to her older sister who had put down her book to talk to her friends and to her older brother who was talking to some fellow Quittich players along with their "fan girls". Blake rolled her eyes at the sight of the fawning girls but she smiled to see how well her siblings seemed to be fitting in. She hoped she could have great relationships with others like them. Then she turned back to Swifteekl and she gave her a soft smile. "You excited for any classes? I can't wait for any of them!" Blake grinned as tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

evie grinned, hugging him back. "i really missed you, I'm so glad you're here!" she laughed, then let go after a while. her grin faded thhough, when she saw the tear down hunter's face. "hey, what's wrong?" genevieve asked as she wiped it away, placing her hands on his shoulders.

"N-no. Nothing's wrong." Hunter muttered as he whipped his eyes with his robe sleeve."I'm just so happy to see you." Hunter hated lying to her but no way would he be able to tell her the truth. He forced on a fake smile hoping it would brush of her concern for him. Hunter shoved his hands in his pockets as he tried to think of something else. "I'm starving, you? Hopefully we can eat soon!" He nodded as he tried to change the subject. He didn't want to worry her.

Hunter smiled to think she thought it was a bully. He had only been bullied once and she had beaten that guy up even though he had told her he didn't care about what he was teasing him about. It was much worse than a bully, he even would choose a bully rather than what he was dealing with right now. Hunter licked his lips and tapped his foot, a nervous habit. He nodded to show he was feeling "okay" but no matter how many times he would say that to himself he knew he wasn't. His mom had a hard time dealing with it too and he almost stayed at home for the school year to be with her but she begged him to go. She had known he had wanted to go to Hogwarts for the longest time. He still remembered seeing her cry as the train had pulled away from th station.
