(Sure Hmm, maybe he'd come up with a story about how he smelled badger scent or whatever, so he was folling it when he heard yowling. He ran over and saw a rogue killing Foxstar, he chased it off, etc. Then Foxstar tells him he'll be a great deputy one day? I dunno...)

Briarpaw looked across camp, a small sigh escaping his lips. The leader was out, Bramblestorm seemed to be very weak... What was happening with the clan... He shook his head and faced away from it again, looking over at the skies that stretched beyond imagination. They had no limits... So why was it that they were bound to the earth... As per usual, he was just daydreaming, nothing good ever came out of that.

[Keriae]

Venompaw trotted over to Briarpaw. He had gotten over the loss of his mother quickly, knowing she had died in a battle, a death worthy of a warrior. He was sure Sandpaw and starpaw were still upset, so he'd leave them to greive. "Hey Briarpaw. How are you?" He asked, sitting down.

Bramblestorm's breathing got shallower, and quicker. Icepath couldn't hear her. She gasped, her eyes starting to glaze over. He limbs twitched, opening her wounds, blood dripping slowly from her pelt onto the floor. The images were getting clearer. Her parents were calling her, so were her siblings. "I'm coming......" She whispered, and let go, her spirit floating from her body as her breathing stopped.

Briarpaw shrugged. "What is going on round here? It used to be so safe and now look at it. Where's your mum?" He cocked his head, looking around. She had always been kind to him when he needed comfort.

[Keriae]

"I don't know what's happened to teh Clan. I think it's the shock of the foxes coming back, and so many deaths." He paused. "Glowsky is dead." He whispered, trying not to think about it. Okay, he hadn't totally got over the death of his mother, but not thinking about it had helped him.

Briarpaw sighed. "Oh sorry. I didn't know..." He thought back to his mother, a frown spreading across his face as the image of his mother twinkled in his eyes. "Maybe you're right. But I still have a bad feeling. How about we go take a walk."

[Keriae]

"Sure. It'd be nice to get away from camp." Venompaw agreed, getting to his paws. The camp was still covered in blood, dens ruined. He shook his tabby pelt, and licked his ruffled fur, trying to banish the image of his mother's body.

[Solanum]

Briarpaw nodded, getting to his paws. "Alright then. Last one in the forest is a pile of foxdung." He sprinted off, without letting his friend even recognise he'd spoken. He raced towards the forest, lengthening his stride dramatically until he looked like a big cat chasing down it's prey.
