claret is known to be called "butterfingers," due to her dropping nearly everything when shes not paying attention or too concentrated. making friends is hard for her, as she is startled easily and not very social, shes the wallflower of the group. trying to be crafty, claret is known for making small gifts for her friends on random occasions, whether it be egg shells carved with a design that she probably stayed up all night working on, or a stone she found on her morning walks around the neighborhood that reminded her of you. she is very sweet and thoughtful and loves her family and friends uvu

vernal is a smart vaiki, writing down notes in books with blank pages, recording the sales of his flowers. he wheels around a little flower cart around the neighborhood, sometimes giving a daisy or two to a child. he is shy and reserved, once you get to know him he will slowly climb out of his shell. he is also flustered easily, all it takes is one look and hes gone, but he is delicate and if not let down easy he will break and cry, staying in his room for weeks eating takeout and watching cheesy movies on netflix. he believes everyone is beautiful and perfect no matter what, he reads lots of romance novels ovo

chartreuse is a bouncy and energetic girl, on rainy says shed rather jump in puddles then take a nap. she likes to draw, and plenty of times shes scribbled in vernal's books. crayons are her very best friend, she carries at least one around with her at all times. she also makes flower crowns for her older brother's flower cart, she herself is usually covered in head to toe with the rings of carefully weaved flora. she loves to play tag and other athletic games, even playing soccer when she was a bit younger. she does not know of personal boundaries, nor does she care. she attracts lots of friends with her daring personality! pvp

ritter is more on the weird side, finding a fascination with bugs. because of this he always seems to have a bug on his hand, or anywhere else. other vaikis call him critter. his voice is more on the nasally side and clicks his tongue unconsciously. he despises little kids, they always seem to break something of his. in the middle of a conversation he'll crouch down and began looking under furniture for bugs, upon finding one he quickly huddles into a ball to examine it. he is known to talk to himself, others find him crazy and stay away from him. he doesn't mind, saying he enjoys the peace and quiet. no one really talks to him anymore unless they have to ;v;

I was thinking of possibly removing the rule that all vaikis should have heterochromia, since sometimes it's hard for us to find colors that look good, and sometimes we just forget ;v; If I were to completely remove the rule, it wouldn't change any vaikis currently existing, but future vaikis could have both their eyes the same color and it wouldn't be rare or anything. I could also only partially remove the rule so that one eye color is still rare, but not impossible. Or I could just not change the rule at all and keep heterochromia as a main species trait uvu

So... community opinions?

I think the heterochromia rule should be removed as it would be easier on the artists.
However, I don't think that heterochromia should be rare since most of the Vaiki species has it.
If any, I'd say it'd be more along the lines of uncommon since the majority have it.

Heterochromia would be the common one, vaikis without heterochromia would be rare ^^
(That's only if I keep a rule partially in place. If I remove it completely then there would be an equal chance of vaikis being made with or without heterochromia)
