I must say, though, if Brendon is the only reason why you 'stay' with the band, why bother? I mean, yeah, he's the lead vocals, but, I think that the band should be way more than just the lead vocals. That's the thing, people recognize the band for it's singer, but nothing else. I'm not saying Brendon's a saint, or anything, as well as it's kinda hard to recognize a band when you lost some members, but that doesn't mean we should hate everyone but Brendon for it. I mean, Dallon's still here, he's pretty cool owo... No, he hasn't been with the band since day one, but he's still in the band. I don't know why I bother posting things, so if you actually managed to read this, good job

This band was more than just the lead vocals. It was about the writing, and background vocals, and guitar, and bass, and drums but that's all gone. They didn't loose some members, they lost all of the members except the singer. Sure Dallon and Kenny play with Brendo but are they really in the band or are they just there as filler for the other guys. It's not their vision, Panic is Brendo's and Spencer's and Jon's and Ryan's and Brendo is the only one carrying on what Panic! was. Dallon and Kenny are good musicians but they don't have the flair that makes Panic great- Brendo does. Look at there website and merch- it's just Brendon. And when Dallon got nominated for bassist of the year, it wasn't even a picture of him- it was a picture of Brendon. If you were a hardcore Dallon stan, wouldn't you rather listen to Brobecks than Panic! where he gets zero credit for his work? It's not fans making it the Brendo show, it's Panic doing it to itself. Plus, if you're a Brendo fan, why wouldn't you stick with him? Why would you abandon him just because it's not his original project? Why does it even matter if you only like the singer or not.

I really don't understand what you're saying, that's exactly what I said. I wasn't complaining about Brendon, nor was I saying "Love Dallon, not brendon." Nor was I complaining that the band was just vocals. I clearly stated "The band is more than lead vocals" So I'm not too sure why you had to address that.

I wasn't attempting to spark a fight, though, I really don't get why you're trying to make a mountain out of this molehill. If you feel so angered that I typed about Brendon and Panic! At the disco, I don't see the relevance to respond. I'm going to leave this at that, but, if you don't think Panic! has a flair anymore, why bother enjoying it?

If you feel so strongly that Dallon doesn't get credit, I don't see the point in supporting said band.

in my personal opinion, if you only like a band for the singer and don't give credit to anyone else, i'm probably gonna hate you lmao
because it's literally not just a panic thing - every single band fandom you look into will be full of people who are obsessed with just the singer and don't even know the drummer or bassist or guitarist; in fall out boy, everyone knows pete and patrick, but nobody cares about joe and andy. in all time low, everyone loves jack and alex, but nobody cares for rian and zack.
it's really unfair because even in panic's case, dallon is literally having all his talent put to waste because nobody cares about you if you aren't the frontman. it happened back with old panic too - everyone cried over ryden and brendon and ryan but nobody cared for jon or spencer. it was really sad, too, because spencer is my favourite member and honestly? he's a lot less problematic than brendon and ryan are. but nobody cares about him, and that's really disappointing. because, like, even now after hes' talked a lot about his struggles with addiction and depression, people still go on about "oh but my POOR BABY BRENDO and his RYAN PROBLEMS uvu" 5 years later. it's pathetic.

but what we need to remember is that because brendon doesn't give dallon royalties or anything, dallon is literally scraping by with doing other jobs to support his family. he's not living the rich rockstar lifestyle; he's literally having to take up jobs in places like fast food joints, music stores, hardware stores etc. between shows and tours - just because he's not considered to be in the band, and therefore doesn't receive royalties or press or anything. it's a really difficult thing to be in a band where you're not being paid nearly as much as you should be. this isn't me stanning dallon, this is me pointing out the unfortunate truth behind touring etc as a musician. it's most definitely not all flowers and candy.

being a brendo stan is fine, but you need to remember that brendon isn't the only one in the band and he's certainly not perfect. it's not brendon stans than annoy me; it's people who completely ignore that brendon is an incredibly problematic individual. like yeah, i love brendon and he's real great, but seriously, he does have his extremely problematic points. a quick google search or delve into the /panic or /brendon tumblr tag will show you that he's done a lot of transphobic/homophobic/racist/problematic things, especially on periscope, that a lot of people pass over or ignore in favour of loving their "brenny boo uwu".

also panic totally has flair still what the hell are you talking about lmao

tldr ; brendon isn't perfect. he's not the only driving force behind this band. other members were and still are overlooked. stanning brendon blindly just bc hes the singer makes you kinda terrible tbh. bye.

what happened a few posts ago, I simply want to say why it
was quite unpleasant.

I have this fanclub for you guys to enjoy and vent your obsessions.
I can allow you expressing some of your disappointments and displeasures,
but keep them polite and concise. Move on to the next topic, reading
rants about something you like is kinda A) boring and B) offensive.
Though we are only defensive of things that we like by nature it is
better to keep things on the same page as everyone else.

And one more thing, if you don't the courage to say it in a regular sized
font, then don't say it. That is all I have to say.


Now let's get back to talking about Victorious!!!!

Personally, I think Victorious is the best single right now and if the rest of the songs are more like Victorious, then I'll be ecstatic. They better do a UK tour for the new album.
