Either way that's my opinion. I loved the lyrics; I did not like the way it sounded...you don't have to agree but you also don't have to be rude about it?

And btw I was talking about like how it sounds at the very beginning. That is flipping female voice layered with his...I know the rest is all his. However, I do not like the way the parts that say "all my friends were glorious, tonight we are victorious" sound. I don't know. That is just my opinion.

K so after listening to Victorious for a day, I must say that just like the other two songs from the new album are super hit or miss. They all have elements to them I like and elements that make me wanna smash a table. Victorious is definitely not a song that's going to be remembered for generations to come but it is a mindless song and I very much enjoyed listening to it. I'm not crazy about the higher pitched "tonight we are victorious" bit either which I'm pretty sure is just Brendo's voice layered and pitched because the inflection is so similar but there is no way to know until the credits for the song are released so there's no use arguing about it because it could go either way and also I doesn't matter unless you are suddenly going to be all over that part of the song once you know Brendo is singing it so there is that. I definitely like the guitar in the song better than the G B C progression or whatever in Hallelujah so that's good. And the jazzy/showtune feel of the verses is just my style. Good job. The lyrics were pretty all over the place for me. It was like "yeah, this line is great" to "wow, that's so dumb" in two seconds. But then again, I hold Panic! lyrics to a super high standard of excellency, thanks for that, Ryan. But the "double bubble disco queen" line. That's honestly why I like the song better than the others. So nice of Brendo to write a song about me. Also, the line "living like a washed up celebrity." Thanks for giving a shout out to my boi, Ryan. Thanks Brendo.

i honestly just love the lyrics to victorious so much tbh, they're really well done especially comparing them to the lyrics of hallelujah (which weren't so great)
but yea i distinctly heard "gay-o-teen" instead of guillotine ngl

I'm pretty sure it's pitched, I mean... Though, I mean that's your opinion.

Anyways, I'm just gonna throw it out there that I really freaking love this song c: To me it sound pretty different from the rest of the songs that were released(Death of a Bachelor & Hallelujah) But, It's kinda refreshing, in terms of the other songs.

I must say, though, if Brendon is the only reason why you 'stay' with the band, why bother? I mean, yeah, he's the lead vocals, but, I think that the band should be way more than just the lead vocals. That's the thing, people recognize the band for it's singer, but nothing else. I'm not saying Brendon's a saint, or anything, as well as it's kinda hard to recognize a band when you lost some members, but that doesn't mean we should hate everyone but Brendon for it. I mean, Dallon's still here, he's pretty cool owo... No, he hasn't been with the band since day one, but he's still in the band. I don't know why I bother posting things, so if you actually managed to read this, good job.

Crossing out text and making it smaller dosnt make it any less rude. This is a fan club. Where I am allowed to show my displeasure or love of anything regarding the band without you having to tell me that I'm wrong. I can have that opinion. You don't have to "just say" anything. Now I remember why I stopped posting here.

My opinion is that it is hard for me to listen to his voice when he has all of these stupid filters and electronic things happening in the background when he doesn't need it and sounds much better without them. I sing and play guitar so, yes, I appreciate both the singers and other band members. However, for this particular band, Brendon is my favorite and he has proven to me that he will carry on without any of the band members so that makes him my favorite. Not only that but I am mesmerized by his vocal range and sound. Thanks.

Goodbye.

This band was more than just the lead vocals. It was about the writing, and background vocals, and guitar, and bass, and drums but that's all gone. They didn't loose some members, they lost all of the members except the singer. Sure Dallon and Kenny play with Brendo but are they really in the band or are they just there as filler for the other guys. It's not their vision, Panic is Brendo's and Spencer's and Jon's and Ryan's and Brendo is the only one carrying on what Panic! was. Dallon and Kenny are good musicians but they don't have the flair that makes Panic great- Brendo does. Look at there website and merch- it's just Brendon. And when Dallon got nominated for bassist of the year, it wasn't even a picture of him- it was a picture of Brendon. If you were a hardcore Dallon stan, wouldn't you rather listen to Brobecks than Panic! where he gets zero credit for his work? It's not fans making it the Brendo show, it's Panic doing it to itself. Plus, if you're a Brendo fan, why wouldn't you stick with him? Why would you abandon him just because it's not his original project? Why does it even matter if you only like the singer or not.
