i agree, but what with being a youtuber and all i'm sure he's very busy so the struggle is would he have time to take care of it like most pet owners ? i don't doubt he'll be a good owner, but most youtubers don't have the time to bond with their animals like other owners can because someone else is always there caring for it rather than them. that's why i've seen tons of youtubers refuse to get a pet, but that's usually because they travel a ton. does mark travel a ton ? i've never really heard him talk about travelling a lot so maybe i'm just thinking youtubers in general.

So accordingly to Mark himself, he is getting a dog soon. He is still living with Matt and Ryan in the house and they want to brighten it up, Mark states they think a dog is a good way to do that and he himself has his heart set on a golden retriever, but he doesn't know yet.

As for the concerns of him traveling a lot, etc. he does have Matt and Ryan to help out, too.
Mark travels only to conventions and back home- and those are for a week or two at most.

And to those who don't know, Mark is hoping to bring the channel around again next week depending on things.

Ditto for me too. Personally, I think a dog is a great idea for them; those animals can sense emotion and react accordingly.

I'm a cat fan, but I do agree on him getting a dog. ;P
I have a dog myself, and he's a good guy to vent to when nobody's around or my cats are being jerks.

i just figured i'd ask. mark said he wanted a goldie, but i'm kind of hoping he gets a pup from the shelter... the biggest, fluffiest one there.
it's not that i have anything against goldies. actually, my friend has a goldie- trained service dog. i just... kind of want a mixed breed. mixes aren't normal, standard, usual. neither is mark. most goldies/purebreds look a lot like others do. mixes are one of a kind... just like mark.

@Xenephos- Agree, major cat person right here. But Mark is a total dog person, he's mentioned it several times in streams and the like.

what kind of dog do you want mark to get?
I actually had to think about this one. I personally would love to see him with either a big or small dog.
Pekingese or German Shepherd I think would fit him. Something either similar to Charlie in size or something totally massive like Lucy.

German Shepherds are big babies, which I think is why it'd click with Mark the best, but a Pekingese is a total lap dog most of the time.
But, whatever he gets, I'm sure we'll hear and see it in a lot of videos. c:

I agree with HP on that one. My dog is a Shepherd mix that ends up looking, quite literally, like she has a baby face because of her feature combinations. Mixes are just as good as other dogs, just a bit...odd. And besides, you could end up with a dog having some kind of great mix in a talent. Like my dog being able to jump completely over my head, and I'm 5'6".

I also think that a shelter dog would suit him and his personality well. He said it himself, that he wants to make the less fortunate, well, more fortunate. A lot of those shelter dogs have been through things. I mean- using my dog as an example again- my dog is terrified of spray bottles, newspapers, and dumpsters for some odd reason.
