(5-10 seconds? that's a rather quick time for catching a vole, try to keep in mind that there are several steps necessary for this action to be completed, successfully. Cats reply mostly on their scenting ability, and hearing, and she would have had to detect the vole's presence in the first place, then, silently track it, and once she has finally, figured out where it is, she may finally attempt to catch it after this time of searching. Even at that, there is always a chance that the creature could evade, and scurry to someplace unreachable. try to think about detail, ;w; )

Greynose- The tom's fur had gotten quite ruffled during his nap, so he quickly lapped at his pelt to flatten it down. His ears shot up as he heard a sudden voice coming from in front of him, he looked up to see vixenfang, Her ginger and white pelt was shining in the sunlight as she spoke. "Yes, The day for me has been quite well" The tom responded as he stood up and stretched out, sinking his claws into the dirt "How about you?"He asked as he straightened back up and sat down in front of her, curling his tail neatly around his paws
