A little bit about her;
Cassandra or Cassy by close friends is a very loyal, and ambitious mako. She enjoys drawing and would like to draw for a living but is afraid of what Amari, her mom may think of her if she doesn't follow in her foot-steps. She is growing better by the day at both digital and traditional arts. With a small hidden fascination of photography. If your looking for art she may be the mako for you. Living on a small beach house a couple of miles away from her mom, she two has grown love for the salty waves.

who's your favourite mako?
While I love all of my makos with my whole heart, and there are some I don't own that I am envious of, my favorite mako is and will always be my baby Sai. Sai was designed and posted up for adoption in the months following my first trip to Japan. All of the things I had learned and all of my favorite memories resurfaced as I worked on my application for him. The connection I formed with him over the try out period is really strong, and I don't know if I've ever known any other of my characters so intimately. I could essentially answer even the most obscure and weird questions about him. I feel like I know him deep down to his core. It's more than just that, though. His very simple design and Japan-inspired accessories are just so pretty to me. I don't know where I'd be today if I hadn't won him. I feel like all of the other makos I own are branches of his story, in a way. Sai is sort of the central figure that ties all of my makos together.

What do you look for when adopting a Mako?
In the past, I jumped at any mako I thought was pretty? But I've changed my methods a bit since then. I now only try out for a mako when I feel a connection with them to some degree. That way I hopefully never again have the issue of "I loved this mako but after I became the owner I never connected." Now I wait for some sort of connection to form BEFORE I even bother filling out an application. It is just easier that way.

What would you do if you found your ultimate dream mako?
This sort of already happened with my baby, Sai. When I first saw him posted it was sort of this OMG moment of pain in my chest. Because I knew I needed to win him, and if I didn't win him I had this feeling I'd just be so lost without him. The amount of effort put forth in his application is more than I've ever put into anything, believe it or not. It was just so important. I couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, couldn't do anything without thinking about him and coming up with new things to put in the application. For the couple of months that his contest was opened, I couldn't think of anything else besides him. It was obsession for sure!

How do you cheer yourself up if you lose a competition?
Usually I am a bad person and spend my money on a custom or a mako that's up for sale if there are any xD

I've decided to name him Sasha Vastilis. Joining the ranks of my 4 makoatl who actually have last names LOL

Working on some art to finish paying someone, but my wrist started hurting so I decided to take a break and share some stuffs with everyone.


First off, Fae grew up a little while ago. And I have been writing out and planning a ship for her for soooo long ;3;
But, now that she is grown, I have further developed her relationship with my other mako Solaire and the stories I have for these two right now are so adorable that I think I might explode.

Meet Chester!

Much like Haigha, Chester can be very air headed. He is easily excite-able and often has a goofy grin on his face. He shares his parents love for literature and finds himself reciting various poems for no reason. Haigha finds himself confused when sitting down with Absolem and Chester due to the fact that the both of them often speak very cryptically. Most of the time, Chester can be found napping in a tree or in the families garden.



Also, just finished doing the color-in of Haigha and Absolem on the line art by caela that I bought.
4 down, 11 to go.... and that's just of my makos ;3;

As a side note, I recently received a non-edited myo slot and I kinda want to make a Vergil mako (to go with my Dante mako) but he wont have hair edits (aka vergil's hair style) if I do that... so i'm not 100% sure on what i am going to do with that. Gonna think it over and decide later.

I was just wondering if their was someone out there who would help a non-owner out, I have been really in love with this species for awhile and I've tried out for the odd adopt but i just don't have the skills that everyone else has when it comes to coding and art lol. i was just hoping someone could pm me some advice on getting a mako so i can have a better chance.
