Dee is the main character in the book "Rising Shadows"

Dee is the rebellious, war-craving daughter of the village leader.
Dee falls into various mishaps and ends up getting lost in the end of the book
her tribe believing she died in battle.
The book is a book locked with a spell, when the reader finishes she book,
Dee's 'vanishing' is her coming to life outside the book.
Exerpt from her vanishing:
I awoke, she sun hot on my face.
So many different things, where were the trees?
Where were the elves?
And why was there a stranger gaping at her?
