Ferondir of Mira -- Arbour Harbor

Ferondir glanced over at the blue haired girl. She was examining them, learning all she could with her eyes. Why?
It made him uncomfortable. He'd just help her out a bit, give her the info she needed. She was leaning slightly toward Della, and she had a familiarity with her. While, in contrast, she was wary of him and the captain. She clearly knew Della, and was wondering who he and Jakub were.
"Hello, I'm Ferondir of Mira," he said. He shuffled over to her on his staff. "Am I right in guessing we're both friends of Della?"

"Friends might be a stretch. I've seen her around, I know her name. She's an apprentice potionmaker. She probably doesn't know me." This Ferondir definitely pays attention. He seemed to have noticed that I recognized Della. He said he was from Mira, that must be why I don't know who he is. He definitely appears injured too. Maybe this is one of the few people I've met that deserves my respect... I'll have to watch them more later, though doing so without being noticed might be harder than I thought...

"Doesn't know you?" Ferondir said. "Then how do you know her?"
Was Della famous? A flicker of surprise in the girl's eyes. Her shoulders rose slightly. She no longer saw him as an immediate threat, infact, she was considering him as her equal, meaning she's both smart and unknowingly arrogant. "What can I call you?"

"... My name is Shiallia... And you can call me whatever you'd like." I guess I've never really had a nickname... Except..." I don't know her well... I've just seen her around." Shiallia was clearly getting defensive, and she was unlikely to give more information unless she decided to trust these random strangers. Changing the subject, she asked "What brings you to Arbour Harbor?"

Ferondir of Mira -- Arbour Harbor

"We're on our way to Castle town," Ferondir said. "The whole party that is. They're all around here somewhere."
She was getting defencive, better back off.
"Hey, Della!" he said. "Have you met Shiallia?"

"Why Castle Town? Are the rumors true? Is the king really dead?" Shiallia decided to trust Ferondir, to some extent. Her instincts with this sort of thing were usually right...

"I don't want to believe it. That's why we're heading there. I think there might be a chance to save him."
Why were they all just hanging about Arbor Harbor? The king's life was in danger, if not over.
Shiallia's shoulders dropped slightly and her posture relaxed. Why was she trusting him so easily?
Why was everyone here acting so... normal? The king had been attacked. Was that not cause for caution at the very least?
How had he not noticed before? Maybe the king hadn't been attacked after all. That would explain the normality of the city folk's behavior.
"Now that I look around, I'm not even sure he was attacked at all. Shouldn't everybody be hiding or something?"

"That's a good point. Hey... Can I go with you guys? I've been meaning to go to Castle Town for a while, but the woods are dangerous when you're alone... How many people are with you?" Though Shiallia sounded more relaxed, Ferondir could tell she was still cautious, her hand hovering near her knife.

Ferondir considered for only a brief second. "Why not, there's already almost a dozen of us going, I think. Safety in numbers, and all that. We shouldn't run into anything too dangerous, but you never know."

"When do we leave?" On the outside, Shiallia was calm, but on the inside, she was nervous and excited. Castle Town! I've wanted to go forever, but still... What have I gotten into now? I wonder what the party's like... Will there be gorons and zoras, or just hylians? I wonder when we'll leave? All this, and I'm only 16! Will there be others my age? I wonder if they'll be nice...
