He walked up the steps to the school with his hands folded behind his head, whistling to pass the time as he scanned the nearby area to see if anything was interesting enough to catch his eyes.

Mikoto had heard wind of there being a new student or two. His orange eyes lit up once they landed on the form of the girl with long black hair who seemed to fit the bill of a new girl and grinned as he walked faster.

"Hey there, newbie." He called out once he was a few feet away, still grinning playfully.

Kaminari had just been about to stick an earbud into her ear when she heard someone approaching her from behind. Glancing over her shoulder, she noticed a boy with reddish orange hair walking towards her. flicking her black hair over her shoulder, she tilted her head to the side slightly, allowing the earbud to drop from her fingers to hang around her neck once more. "Um... Hello," she replied back with slight uncertainty. She had no idea what this kids name was, nor was she usually one to strike a conversation. Not for people she doesn't know at any rate, but then again, she wouldn't gain any friends that way. Or a Miester for in that case...

"The names Mikoto, you?" He responded after hearing the meek welcoming that left the girls mouth. The disguised witch - he wasn't fond of the title warlock - already had an inkling of who she was but as soon as a name left the girls mouth, Mikoto would know for sure.

Kaminari's eyes gazed up and then down, faintly observing Mikoto, before she replied. "Kaminari Himura. Its a pleasure to meet you," she replied back politely, dipping her head in greeting. So was the flaw of having lived in a remote village for most of her life. She knew more of the old ways than the new, but she didnt overly mind that small factor. Besides, from what she gathered from her quick glance over, this guy was nice enough and rather harmless at the moment.

He bowed in return, although in a more casual way that you'd see performers in the theatre do at the end of play. So, this was the girl from the imfamous Himura clan. Luckily for him, Mikoto knew quite a bit about the group of assassin's from both local gossip and information aquired by other means.

"It's quite a pleasure to meet you, Minari-chan" He commented cheerfully, not even bothering to question if he could call her the nickname that more or less rolled off his tongue without a second thought.

Kaminari was rather caught off guard at the use of a different nickname, for she was used to others simply calling her Nari, but honestly found herself not minding at all. Smiling faintly, she looked at him, then at DWMA, then back at Mikato once more. "Perfect timing honestly... Im still trying to figure out where everything is around here so would you mind showing me around?" she questions, only partially lying. She was slightly familiar with the area, but something compelled her to continue talking with this boy. He was probably a Meister as well, so that was a plus. Besides, it wasn't like her to be more open with people she literally just met, so perhaps they were bound to become partners? Only time would tell.

"Aha, follow me then Minari-chan." He said sweetly, spinning on his heel in the direction of the school. It was almost tempting to grab her hand and drag her off someplace in the city, perhaps just leaving there to see how long it would take the assassin to find her way back.

All of that just to annoy her and somewhat asses her skills. Oh well, another time. Tomorrow maybe.

After a few quick long strides, Mikoto spinned to face Kaminari with his laughing eyes and joyful grin as he continued to walk backwards.

"So, what do you want to check out first?"

Kaminari let out a soft sigh, something telling her that this was a bad idea. Yet, she followed after him regardless, hands clasped behind her back as she gazed around. The building itself was rather interesting to her. Rather caught day dreaming, she nearly walked into Mikoto and probably would have if she wouldn't have had the training she did. Managing to slow her own long strides pace to match his, she looked him in the eyes as she pondered his question. "Good question... Anywhere i suppose. Just a quick tour so i won't be too late to class would be nice..." She replied back with a faint smile. She could tell that he had something on his mind and that she should be a bit more wary around him, but she would deal with whatever tricks he had up his sleeve when the time came. She had done her research prior to coming to this school after all and knew this trickers bad habits for the most part.

He grinned a grin worthy of the Cheshire cat as he spun back around to push open one of the double doors, seconds way from smashing into them. His hands lingered on the door as he stepped inside, holding the door open.

Mikoto knew exactly what he was going to do, hell, he had done it a few times before on the new kids that seemed worthy enough of his time.

After Minari-chan entered, he lead her to their first stop. "Here's the library and the door at the end of the hall are the Restrooms."

In reality, the supposed library was the nurses office and the death room? That was the actual library.

Kaminari frowned slightly, tailing after him and nodding in thanks as he held open the door for her before allowing it to close. Following after him, her gaze drifted slowly from side to side, taking in her surroundings. Despite her lack of special abilities of the Himura clan, she had been one of the finest young fighters. So, as Mikoto came to a pause once more, she stopped with ease before walking into him, following the direction of his point in the process. "...Gotcha." she stated, snatching up one of the earbuds from around her neck as she absently put one in her ear. She was more of an audio learner, so listening to music often helped her in her studies as well. That, and she simply enjoyed it.
