What is GPS, you may ask?
GPS stands for Grammar Police Station. So, pretty much we're a group of Grammar freaks/nazis/fairies grouped together to stand up to the horrible problem of chatspeak on Chickensmoothie. (*shudder*)
Although we're not super-serious here, we do have a few rules we expect all officers to follow.
RULES!
1.)This one is quite obvious. Proper grammar is expected at all times. This means:
~No Chatspeak (omgzz u guiz r sooo awsum cn i join u??????????)
~Proper capitalization
~Proper punctuation (No abuse, please, our punctuation has feelings, too.) *See below*
~Proper usage of Smilies (One here and there is fine, not a chain of five or more)
Typos are okay, because I know lots of users have keyboards with issues. Just expect a person or two to quote your post and correct it in red text.
2.)"n00b" is an offensive term. So, please use "tick" instead. We have frequent battles versus ticks, so don't be shocked and/or weirded out if you see us roleplaying battles against them. Although, this is probably something for the roleplay.
3.)If and when quoting a tick, please censor the tick's username. For example, let's say...
Example wrote:lol u guiz r so wierd!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!!!
A tick posts this. Instead of using the tick's username (in the example, Example) replace the username with "Tick", "CENSORED" or something along that lines. So, your quote will look something like this.
Tick wrote:lol u guiz r so wierd!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!!!
4.)This isn't a tick trade rant thread. There's another place for that, not here. Now if that tick had horribly improper grammar, that is a different story.
5.)PM all forms to me! This is so I don't have to sort through page after page of jabber. (No offense, guys. xD) Forms posted will NOT be accepted!
