just to explain:

• the bandage is from Moriarty and serves no purpose other than fidget/comfort tool
• the scarf is one he knit himself, and he's using it as a sort of artillery/tool belt. he's stuck some of his tools into it to keep them close at hand (from top: pencil, paintbrush, knitting needles, pencil, pen) and it's tied like a ceinture fléchée (though he is not Métis and it's more for convenience's sake rather than protection of his lower back, though he probably needs that too)
• the amethyst on his tail string is from Kenny
• the shark is a small plushie whose name is Rory
• and the paper cranes are just folded paper. He uses these as his absolute sincerest form of apology.
