Wow didn't expect this, absolutely amazing Bentley! The tail is so superb it took awhile for me to focus on the rest but I love his cute face (:

I actually thought his pup stage was really cool and it didn't seem any easier to trade for so I think lots of others did too. As far as the line edits being referred to as L and 1, I think we all just expect all sorts of hidden messages and trolling in the staff pups so every little difference is studied and analysed for possible hidden meanings (:

I loved the pup stage and your story for Lir is absolutely enchanting. Was there a reason you chose longer horns verse the more traditional short or highly curved ones? I love the adult, I'm just curious about your process and the aesthetic of your staffie.

I went more for a wild goat feel than domestic, and wild goats have big - and sometimes not entirely even (sometimes damage, sometimes just normal wear and whatnot) - horns. ^^; To me, Lir's a creature of the wild, not of man, why would the goat half be of a short-haired, short-horned, livestock goaty? Nahhhh, the big horns and thick fur are better for protection out there.

I'm so glad you guys like the little hoofer, I was kinda... unsure. ^^; Figured it'd get swept under the rug, or something, considering the midstage wasn't all that incredibly popular (much love, still, for those that did enjoy it~).

I love goats - we had a lot when I grew up, your staffy this year reminded me of one big buck we had - he was always a bit wild and shaggy...but he was an absolute sweetheart - thank you for this wild, but kind creature. and the story...really enjoyed how it continues the saga from last year

My favorite part is the way the back fin curves around, it is beautifully drawn and gives the tail nice perspective.

I agree! The tail reminds me of a betta fish.

Honestly I preferred the pup stage. Sure the L and 1 were annoying but I'm not a huge goat(?) fan. Although the tail is absolutely gorgeous!
