only joking. do not put 10 year olds near boku no pico

sekai seifuku bouryaku no zvezda is p child friendly, and though it has action as a genre there's no gore. little witch academy is also good, but it's only a 30 minute movie.
there's also the cutesy magical girl things like pretty cure, sailor moon and jewelpet.

relatable,
I despise grainy animation as well,
but the old shows have some really good stories.
I'd be nice if more of them got reboots //sigh

Higurashi no Naku Kor Ni

I know I may seem obsessed with this series,
but I really think it needs more love.
the English dub was crap, yeah,
but the story is just..I don't know how to explain without spoilers
I'll go ahead and give it a mini-review right here,

the story is cut up into multiple arcs,
some being the same story from different perspectives,
and some being completely different stories,
either way the show really likes to mess with your mind.
once you think you have the story figured out,
you see a different arc and your theory is wiped away

Spoilers for episode four below,
it will not be transparent

After something known as the "Cotton Drifting Festival"
takes place in their town(Hinamizowa)
to put it bluntly,
someone completely snaps.
this can be triggered by the smallest things,
such as who to give a doll to,
and will end up with someone dying.
The show may seem fluffy and cute,
but it can be extremely dark at times as well.

End of spoilers

The show has one of my favorite soundtracks in anime,
half of it is cute and happy,
while the other half is dark, depressing.
You may or may not find the show boring at first,
but watch until episode five and you'll probably think differently..
I defiantly reccomend this show for everyone and mark it as a must-watch show
