This is a trading post to trade art of tryout characters! You post a character you need art of for a character adoption, and then the next person will draw it and post their own!

Obviously, quality art is not immediate. You have a maximum time limit of 2 weeks, or 14 days, to fulfill your part. If you don't, you may be banned temporarily from the thread, and the person after you will be told they don't have to draw your art.

Hᴏᴡ ᴅᴏᴇs ɪᴛ ᴡᴏʀᴋ?

First, comment with a response to the previous post, then place a reference for the character you'd like to have drawn.
You have time limit of 14 days to finish. Make sure to edit your post with the finished art so that I know you finished your art. If you don't update your post, I have no way of knowing that you did it, and may mark it as unfinished.
Please remember to claim your post before actually finishing or working on the art. If you draw something before actually claiming the request, then there is a very high chance others might do the same, resulting in multiple people making art for the same person! Therefore, it is recommended that you save the slot and update it later so that there is no double art pieces.
So remember:

-Draw the tryout adopt character above you
-EDIT your post with the finished art when done (max of 14 days)
-Leave a reference of your own tryout character for the next person to draw!

IMPORTANT!

-Draw the tryout character above you and provide a proper image reference or link to a proper image reference for the next person to draw.
-You must have finished your previous art before posting again. You may post once for the same character every three pages.
-Edit your post with the completed art so that I can see you completed it.
-You have 14 days to complete. There are no excuses for late art. Do not accept art you are unable to finish on time. That is your responsibility.
-You must not own the character you are asking for art for. Only tryout art. Requesting gift art for tryouts is fine but make sure you say that it is gift art.
-Respect everyone here and their requests.
-Don't accept art if you know you can't finish it to the best of your abilities. If you can't draw plumerians, don't agree to draw someone's plumerian tryout.

[Art Rules]
Further elaboration, only read if you're confused.

-Unless otherwise noted, your art must be fully colored and complete (background optional). This just means no half-colored, half-finished scribble.
-Traditional art is acceptable so long as the colors are still present in a BW scale (not just lineart).
-Traditional art must be photographed neatly and in quality. Scanning preferred, but if with a camera, center the camera perfectly above the image.
-FREE. No payment expected or asked for. What you get in return is art.
-Keep conversations in PM rather than commenting on here.
-You may only use other's lineart with their permission and with proper credit given (tracing and/or editables)
-While claiming is fine, you must have your character reference up within 30 minutes of your post. If you dont have a tryout character to be drawn just pm them the art. Other users have the right to supersede your claim if you do not get the reference up in time (take the claim from you, basically skip you)
-Art must be recognizable as the user's character, involving both species and markings. This is up to the thread staff to judge.

[Who are Helpful Users?]

The Helpful Users system, or HU system, is a feature made to reward and encourage users to be active and helpful around the thread.

[How does it Work?]

-Users who draw free art for an Unfinished Claim receives the option to have something of theirs advertised at the top of the thread. This link must be CS-friendly and will be placed over their name.

[How do I get a Quoted Advertisement?]

Some users are in quotes with small thumbnails and/or a small, written advertisement next to their name. This is for users who have completed a piece of quality art for those with unfinished claims. The quality of the art (lineart, use of pen pressure, fully colored/shaded) is up to me to judge.
-You may have a maximum of 3 thumbnails & 3 small, written advertisements.
-Written advertisement can be no more than 2 lines (example: Check out ____'s art shop! Cheap prices!)
-You get 1 thumbnail and 1 written advertisement to start. +1 thumbnail OR written advertisement for additional piece of art and a maximum of 3.
-You may choose any thumbnail. It may be resized & slightly edited to fit.

-You may only change the link, thumbnails, or written advertisement with every piece of art completed.
-Basic thread rules still apply. Failure to follow them will result in no use of this feature.
-Abuse of this feature may result in being banned from this feature.
-The HU system may change at any time. Examples would be the implementation of temporary advertisements or new features being added.
