Chapter 5.
New living.
"sometimes I wish I could just throw this bird back where he came from."

It's been a few weeks since we left our old island and moved into a little light house on a neighboring island. No one but us has showed, so it's safe to say that it's pretty abandoned. Still, Drake and Avian, really seemed to cut it up and get along really well. Really it seemed like Avian had won his friendship more than me. Avian Avian Avian. That was who Drake talked about while we were alone on our island, but that wolf was ruining my life. We all shared the same bed and Avian always squeezed in the middle between me and Drake. I wish he would just go away. I wish I wish. Ah. Forget it. I sat out on the deck today. I wanted to get rid of those nasty seagulls to vent some of my pent up frustration. But Avian kept chasing them out of reach. Drake told him that I hated seagulls and he didn't want me to get rid of the useless vermin. I eventually gave up standing at the top of the lighthouse and went to the bottom before diving in the water. One good thing though, I had found a pretty good place for hunting crabs. I ate a few, but really I didn't feel as hungry. I swam back up at night and walked to the lighthouse... I could hear Avian and Drake laughing. I frowned and growled. Maybe I'd sleep outside tonight. I heard a bad joke from Avian and the two burst into laughter again. I walked away from the lighthouse and rested down in the sound. I slept alone before. I could do it now. I was tired of being nice. Tired of tolerating Avian, but if I just snapped at him one day, I knew it would upset Drake. So I stayed quiet and closed my eyes, falling asleep outside on the sand.
