"Yeah... I did." Scout replied, rubbing his arm. "Coulda sworn, I highly doubt it's my headset or somethin." He glanced back at the waterfall, wondering if he had heard the falls rumbling over some rocks. "I...I suppose it's nothin to worry about." He returned to fiddling with his headset, and grumbled a bit when it failed to establish a signal. "Where the heck are we, anyway? Engie made it so this connects anywhere- how come not now?"

"It could be zat ve are novere." He said and glanced over to the boy. "If ze headset connects anyvere, ve might not be anyvere."

"Nowhea...?! How the heck could we be nowhea? Stop speakin German and make sense." He scowled, though was honestly a bit scared at the prospect. "Nowhea... if we're nowhea, how're we gonna get home? With all the othas... oh god." He mumbled, hoping Medic wasn't able to hear the worried ramble.

He came over to the boy and placed his hands on his shoulders seeing him worry. "Herr-Scout bitte. Ve vill get home, do not vorry." He said and looked into his eyes sternfully "Alright?"

Scout looked up into Medic's dark hazel eyes. "P-promise?" He managed, still a bit flustered that he was reacting this way. It was a sense of panic he had never felt before, or ever had needed to feel. A sense of utter hopelessness.
