Question to all: If you had to restart entirely, would you?

NO! I joined in 08, but only started getting really active in 09 and I missed a lot of pets. I want the whole collection, nearly 5-6 years later, I am still struggling to finish my collection!
Plus back when I first started, people were nicer when it came to trading, nowadays, trading is so much work and people are so picky!

Your username is quite familiar to me! I think we both decided to go for a complete collection/had our most active time around the same year/s.

Recent is also difficult to define. For me the UR bee is quite recent, but then again two years can be a long, long time.

Mine was back in 2013, and the tabs were a bit different. When the layout changed, I freaked out a bit. XD

I remember the old pound system omg. When you flipped through the pages, and whoever was quickest to the last page got the good old pets. Aha. Gosh, and when we didn't have wishlists or archives and had to go to the forum to make sure you had each months pets.

Oh my gosh yes!
I remember the first time I went on CS and the pound was open, and I had no idea about rarities! There were so many advents but I picked a cute 09 husky instead xD

Heh, I remember going onto the Pound's account and scouting what the next group would be. I managed to snag the Valentine's lion from 09 this way as well as one of the blue cheetah dogs from 09.

We use to chat and trade quite often. I remember when you got your Rainbow Smoothie!(least I think that was you...) xD

I think I would. Sometimes I wish I could still feel the excitement when I reached the last 5 pages of my wishlist and was so close to a complete collection, but still there were some pets to go. I try to keep myself entertained with hoards, but it's not the same.

God no. Sure I got most of my pets through Offsite trading but the site I used is no longer popular (to put it nicely: they've become money obsessed to keep the site afloat and it's sucked the money out of the members that most quit). I'm 13 pages away from a whole set and when I began my quest for a full cs set I had about 16 or 18 pages. 5 pages down in a year that's not finished is going pretty well.

I started in 2011, too, and I don't want to lose my date joining because not a lot of 2011 members are still around, at least when I look around there aren't

Gosh I don't even remember the old trading system, etc. I do remember the old layout though. This one is so much better.
