We started down the hallway when we heard Nika call us back.


Wait! There's, like, 6 more! -Nika

Everyone let out a fake chuckle and came back to the auditorium, where Nika was leading a group of six out from in the equipment room.



He's creeping me out...



She looks... nice enough, let's see...



Looks kinda shy... he might be nice...



Is it just me, or does it look like she's about to drench the gym in mud at any given moment?



She's kinda pretty... WHO SAID THAT! *Cough* Not me...



I... can't read anything from her, who knows? She might be the next paw star nobody...

I watched as Eleanor freaked out over the fox dog, running up to her, they stuck up a short conversation.

Nika cleared her throat.
Get into a line-up, I'm gonna, like, sort you now. -Nika

All six quickly assembled themselves into a line-up.

The PPS guy with the scythe came up, gently waving it around. I dunno how you 'gently' wave around a scythe, but who cares? Logic doesn't apply here!

Guess I'll be kickin' off the ball, eh? I'm Icarus Nightshade, and I like stalking, reading, archery, writing, aaaaaaannd candy! -Icarus

Icarus paused and look somber for a second, before shrugging and heading off.

The PPS pup with the Menorah Hoodie (The latest fad!) came up to Nika.

I-I'm Rochina Nigh- I mean Rosina, but pretty much everyone calls me Rosey... and I like singing, shopping, Winter, blue, purple, pink, and art. Oh, and reading! -Rosey
PIE!...Wow, you're helpful, Will... Hmm... you can be, like, a Pawpular, but I'm, like, keeping my eyes on you, you're on the edge of Nerds... -Nika

Rosey scampered off to the Pawpulars group, which was a shame, because her potential was obvious...

The dog with the dark blonde hair and brown wings came up to Nika.

He pretty much had to drag his paws over the Jocks group, and when he turned around, Nika resumed speaking.

Skyler came up and quickly spoke first.

I'm Skyler Swiftrunner, and I must admit, that was an okay prank, but it woulda been better if they were at their dorms instead of three lengths down the hallway, jus' saying, and my interests are- Skyler

Skyler came over to us with a smirk on her face.

The pretty cat came up after Nika gave her head a quick nod.

Gabby nodded and started walking towards the Nerds group, then stopped when she saw me, she blushed beet-red and gave me a little wave.

The girl with the panda hoodie came up to Nika.

I'm Phoenix, I like pranks and gaming! -Phoenix
Nobodies. You can go to your dorms now. No surprises. -Nika

We all started heading towards out dorm, and I silently prayed by Bunkmate wouldn't be Silvy.

Skyler stared at her bed, which was just below Rika's.

I flopped onto my bunk and a note fluttered up from the pillow. I rolled my eyes and gave it a look.

Pawpulars:
They rule the school! They're lead the by the great and wonderful Nika! They're the best, are super nice and helpful, and have fab fashion sense!

Jocks:
They're sporty, cute, and handsome! But mostly cute!

They're okay, and are sometimes cute, but are scary and creepy too, and usually have scythes and dark clothes

I was about to tell her that I didn't know, when a programmed message came over the speakers:

I just shrugged and we headed off to our classes, which I am skipping except for one moment...

Suddenly, Skyler spotted a jar of chocolate.
Skyler smiled at Eleanor and Phoenix.

I smirked as I saw Skyler creeping over to the chocolate, but then put on a, I have no idea what they're doing I'm innocent la dee da sort of face.

Skyler snatched the jar of chocolate sauce from Mr. Kapchow's desk and flew up to the roof with it.

Fore some odd reason odd, yeah right... Eleanor and Phoenix began dancing in front of Mr. Kapchow's desk.

What in the name of- -Mr. Kapchow

And... the jar of chocolate fell from the ceiling and landed right on his head.

WHO DID THAT?! -Mr. Kapchow
He looked up to see Skyler flying up at the ceiling.
YOU! -Mr. Kapchow

Mr. Kapchow scanned the room and pointed at Eleanor and Phoenix.
You two! Come over here! And you too, wing doggy! Ohhhhhh I see that look on your face, stripy... cat! My desk! Now! -Mr. Kapchow

I shakily got to my feet and walked over to Mr. Kapchow's desk, where he handed us each a slip- a detention slip.

You will meet Ms. Sila in the Detention Room after lessons, back to your desks! That was a hundred year old jar of chocolate! -Mr. Kapchow

Yeah, so now you know why me, Skyler, Phoenix and Eleanor are heading to the Detention Room when we should be going to our dorms.

As we stepped in, to our surprise, Flash was there!

What are you doing here? -Eleanor
I declined being a pawpular's boyfriend -Flash
Pawpulars are so weird! -Eleanor
WANNA ESCAPE? IT'S NOT IKE THERE'S A TEACHER HERE! -Phoenix
Sure, and how about you say that a little louder so that a teacher can hear us. -Todd

So, we casually exited the Detention Room and... heard footsteps thundering down the hall!

Uh-oh -Skyler

We turned around a started running down the hall ourselves, and... ran into a dead end.

Hey, look, a painting! -Eleanor
Oh, that's real helpful -Skyler

Then, Eleanor ripped the painting of the wall to reveal... a random staircase?

I stand corrected... -Skyler
Come on! -Eleanor

We all clambered into the gap and Eleanor pulled up the painting, leaving us in total darkness.

As soon as we stepped into the room at the bottom of the steps, we heard two sets of paws, but dismissed it as the steps we'd heard upstairs, justified, since it was oh-so-faint.
Hey, ice job back there, Elanor, I'm starting to believe that you escaped from a giant gingerbread house school by eating some of it -Flash
You've got to tell me the rest of this sto- -Todd

I was cut off by two dogs entering the room, one of them, who had odd red eyes, spoke in a voice that made me realize that he was Icarus;

Why did you accept? I wanted you... to follow me! -Icarus

His voice made me feel sympathetic for the little Emo, even though I had no idea of what he was talking about, though I did understand that he was addressing Rosey, from her blue eyes and tone of voice.

I'm sorry... It was a tempting offer, and I don't know how I could fake... an Emo... -Rosey

We watched in suppressed horror as Icarus wipped out his paw and cuffed Rosey over the head, she only gasped a little, but it was still surprising.

I don't feel so sorry for him anymore... -Todd
WHO SAID THAT?! COME OUT NOW! -Icarus

We turned to face one another, and a quick wave of understanding passed between us, before we charged up the stairs, away from Icarus and Rosey, and into the safety of our dorms.
