As for the Mikey Way. I believe commenting on his ability to perform musically is just fine.
I was raised by parents who were under the influence so I can understand where both of you are coming from.
But I haven't heard enough of the subject to form my own solid opinion on it. So I'm in the gray area.

But no! I did not know Tim Burton designed their outfits! That's amazing! <3 All love all the Tim Burton films. I was going to do a nightmare before Christmas theme but ended up not doing it.
But I really want to get some awesome MCR posters for my room but I have no idea where to start!

I do respect Mikey everyone, and it was his choice to do what he did. I wasn't making general assumptions about his life etc, and I understand that MCR wasn't going in the direction, musically, he wanted to persue, hence electric century.

I just don't support him much as a general, I am not saying he did anything wrong, or that he didn't have hard times, I just said that because he said about not wanting to continue in MCR after black parade it made it feel like he was reluctant, which he was, understandably because MCR wasn't what he was after in a band musically.
He had every right to feel reluctant if he wasn't feeling fulfilled, but i don't know...

But I am going to step out of this debate after this post, and simply lurk... You are all entitled to your own opinion, so why not showcase them!

And on Mikey, I never said I hated him, because I don't. The MCR family is amazing. People make some pretty crappy mistakes, he just needs to not make the same one again. That goes for anyone, really. And I do believe fans can criticize musicians...? Music is an art, and how can you ever get better if you don't realize your mistakes? As a musician myself, I think constructive criticism is essential.

Sadly, I'm raised in a strict, "Christian Music only." So my family has already thrown away my bvb and sws bracelets and sws album. So I'm afraid to buy an MCR album.
However. I have bought the music and saved it onto my tablet. So if that counts, then I own all of them.

Holy wow, you're kidding, right?

I was never rude to anyone, there is a difference between honestly voicing your opinion, which may be positive or not, and being rude/hating. Being rude would be "I hate Mikey Way, he is a horrible bassist, he sucks", none of which I ever said. I said he was an average musician and that I don't like his life choices. I don't hate him, I don't even really dislike him that strongly actually, I just don't have respect for him as a musician or what I know about him as a person. How is that rude, seriously?

And Mikey may be a professional, but I've known twelve year olds who could play bass better than him. And part of being a professional is opening yourself up to critique. I am a professional photographer, but I don't get butthurt when somebody critiques me...I somehow doubt Mikey would either actually.

Life lesson for ya, objective isn't the same thing as rude.

Take a chill pill dude, I already said I didn't mean to argue or come off as rude so I'm not sure why you're acting so offended - nobody else did. I meant to have a friendly debate, obviously you didn't. And btw I don't appreciate you attacking me personally at all. You said there is no excuse to be rude but yet you were just blatantly insulting to me...lol. Apparently there is only no excuse for being rude if you're insulting a band member, average people must be fair game.

Just Danger Days and Three Cheers on CD currently. I have all of their music on my tablet though. I lost like 90% of my CD collection when I moved, sadly.

Okay. I'm gonna end the Mikey Way conversation. Because shots are being fired. This is the end. No more will be said.

First of all, you don't have to like a person to respect them and you don't have to respect a person to like them. No one here was attacking Mikey or dissing anyone who does like Mikey.
As for his musicianship, you can't just say to not question his abilities because he is a professional. I record in a studio, teach music lessons, and get paid for performing at some of the same venues that Mikey has played. Are you saying you shouldn't question my abilities as well? Or is he untouchable because he is a musician? He's just a person so I'm grading his ability on the same level I'd scale any other musician or person besides Ryan Ross. Don't listen to anything I ever say about Ryan Ross or Panic! At the Disco because my views are incredibly slanted. Music is a skill that you have to practice. You're never done learning and there is ALWAYS going to be someone better. All I meant about Mikey's musicianship is that it is juvenile. At the age of twelve, I was able to sit down for five minutes and pick up what he was playing or figure it out by ear. It didn't take me long nor did I have to practice hard to understand the bass lines whereas there will be bands like the Killers and Muse where I would work months on a line before I got it. I just wasn't impressed by his skill and the bass lines don't get progressively more advanced through the band's years so there's no evidence that he has improved since the start. And as a bassist, the remark that bass isn't the focal point hurts. Bands are all about balance so if there's no trade off between bass, guitar, and drums for the focal point, maybe the band isn't worth listening to at all. It's true that you aren't necessarily supposed to hear the bass but that doesn't mean it can be simple and disregarded. Bass sets the undertones for the song and you're supposed to feel it in your gut and for me, Mikey just didn't do that. We can critique any of the band members. This isn't an attack on Mikey. I could talk about how Gerard sang from is throat instead of his head or chest on the first album or how Bob didn't use a 287 piece drum set. And noticing these flaws in music doesn't make anyone less a fan or mean they shouldn't listen to the band. There is no perfect band and no perfect song. It's about how the music makes you feel and how it has influenced society.

On to the question of the day-
I own Life on the Murder Scene, The Black Parade is Dead, I Brought You My Bullets You Brought Me Your Love, Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, The Black Parade, and Danger Days. I never bothered to buy Take This To Your Grave because most of the songs were ones I already had and I was a broke sophomore when it came out. I also didn't buy or listen to most of Conventional Weapons. I don't want to be disappointed.
