Caelan nods "Of course, a Pokémon researcher needs to be a good doctor too." she takes out a Full Restore. "This'll sting a bit, but your wounds will heal faster." she sprays it in small spritzes on all of Ultimo's wounds.

Stephanie let out a soft giggle, patting the Arcanine affectionately, "It's fine, he's such a handsome guy, I couldn't say no to him if I tried" She chooed as she scratched under his chin, affectionately, "So, Kusi, would you like to do a friendly pokemon battle?" She asked with a friendly smile, "I would love to see Arcanine's power" She added, her Lopunny letting out an excited noise before hopping off it's chair, followed by Mawile, both showing Kusi their mega stones, Lopunny's a bow on her ear and Mawile's a necklace. "Guys, don't' show those off" She tsked, shaking her head at them with a soft sigh.

Destery startled at the response, not actually expecting one, "Oh, um, hi, uh, well, you know, I guess both? Um, I didn't think anyone was actually here but if, you know, you'd like, um, a friendly battle?" Destery was a little bit awkard, stuttering with lots of ums before rubbing the back of his head, "If you want, we aren't very strong, but we try out best, so you know, if you wanna?" He prompted, with a sleepish smile, making note of the Pokemon surrounding the man opposite him.

Once Selina had been scanned, she put the walls around her mine back up, to keep out other psychics, or just in general, she watched girl but something was bothering her about the cute girl but she couldn't put her finger on it, she remained silent as she reached into her bag, pulling out a container with about six different poke treats, "Here, you must be hungry" There were a few different berries mixed in with them as she offered the container, "You can pick as many as you want, or have them all" Selina offered with a soft smile.

Alto smiled wistfully, his eyes closed as he thought about just what kind of challenge this person might bring. He knew his limits, that had been made clear by his words alone, and he did say his pokemon tried their best. No, he said they tried their best, including himself in that statement. Pokemon that worked alongside their trainer to become better, huh? Well, this wasn't at all what Alto had feared. In other words.....this wasn't an opportunity he would turn down now that it was before him. "Very well. But understand that even the most beautiful symphony can be outclassed by one greater than it. So do your best in this, a single battle in which we will both call upon the power of one of our pokemon. As a gift, we shall choose one of our number first. Hmm......let's go with Altaria. What say you guys?" The last question had been directed towards his team, his friends. All gave an affirmative answer in their own way, the majestic Humming Pokemon moving forward like a cloud softly floating through the sky. She, and it was a she, had a circlet around her forehead with a stone set in the middle. Altarianite. A stone given to Alto as proof that his friendship with Altaria had reached its peak and could grow no further. It could only be maintained.

Destery's eyes widened at the beautiful Pokemon in front of him, taking out his Pokedex in embarrassment, he held it up and scanned it, "Altaria, the Humming Pokemon, Altaria is the evolved form of Swablu. It uses its fluffy wings to catch updrafts and is known for its beautiful high-pitched song." The voice said and Destery hesitated, glancing at the Pokeballs, unsure which to pick, his team were mainly Rock Pokemon, glancing at the Pokemon's list, he noted that it was weak to rock, but only in normal form, it mega evolved, it's Rock weakness left and he'd have no advantage... Deciding to go with his partner, he took a pokeball off his belt and tossed it lightly out, and a Cradily stood in place where the pokeball had landed, standing at about five feet, Destery was only a few inches taller then it. The Pokemon immediately waddled closer to Destery rather then towards the other pokemon, it's tentacles wrapping around him, one wrapping around his knee and another around his waist. "No, we're battling, come on boy, let's show them what we got, come on, off" After a few more encouragements, the Pokemon released the boy, waddling forward on it's stubby legs, it's head waving slightly like there was a breeze causing it to sway.

"Allow me to start this symphony you call battle. Altaria, show them the beauty of your melody by starting off with a Dragon Dance," Alto said, stretching his hand up to the sky and holding one hand against his heart as if to say he was truly cherishing the song that was to come. No, it was as if signalling the beginning of a recital, one that Altaria headed straight into by flying up into the air, twirling around like a ballerina dancing to a song. Just because Cradily had a type-advantage did not mean it would be capable of using that to defeat Alto's friend who had originally taught him the melody of life with its song when she was a Swablu. No, Altaria was going to become faster and faster in the heat of battle, waiting until the crescendo before she finally struck. For she knew that the crescendo would bring it the ability to hit hard and fast, using that to her advantage. "I commend you on attempting to overpower our song with a Rock-type pokemon, but that shall get you nowhere in the end."

Kusi grins broadly down at the two pokemon then looks to Stephanie. "SUre idlove too battle, and you might need those Mega stone verses my boy, hes as strong as he is proud." She stands and scratchs a hand beetween the Arcanines ears, the pokemon giving a big beaming smile of sorts.
