"whatever we do," he said finally, "we'll have to be careful. i'm sure petalbreeze has ran her mouth to the entire clan, she always does! i think i have an idea. later, i can ask gingerkit to bring breezekit out of the nursery again. gingerkit's stupid, he'll do anything you tell him to. then, we fed breezekit the deathberries, and we'll tell him that the herbs are good for him!"

petalbreeze yowled in pain, lavenderpaw's bittersweet touch of marigold stinking in her wounds. "w-wwweee-.. -we need to do someone about this, n-now! maybe we should set up a plan to attack him, or run him out of cloudclan. any other ideas?" she shrieked, looking at all of the cats around her. she didn't mean to sound rude, she just couldn't stand being led by such a mouse-brained, cruel piece of fox-dung!

the muscular warrior sat outside the warrior's den, listening to petalbreeze carefully. his eyes widen as she spoke of running duskstar out of the clan. this is bad, he thought, gazing all around himself with paranoia, almost afraid that someone could read his thoughts. i need to find duskstar and smoke! and risk, if he ever decides to show up! this could get bad, quick! he walked past the rest of the clan with a swift pace, refusing to meet any of their eyes. he padded into the forest, anxiously sniffing the air.

"and he'll be stupid enough to give them to petalbreeze too?"
He carefully wrapped them up in a large leaf, careful not to let any go anywhere near his mouth.

Cindertail

he nods in agreement, sighing
"but he's still our leader; starclan chose him..."
Looks down at his paws, his tail drooping.

petalbreeze sighed, nodding in agreement. "well, he picked himself, if my memory hasn't gone bad. i think starclan accepted him, which is even worse. i love all my clan mates, really, but he can't get away with this anymore. we need to confront him as a clan, maybe?" she purred, looking over at cindertail. she truely felt bad for speaking of another person with such anger, which made her even more angry at herself.

"i won't let him get away with letting you get hurt, trust me..."
Him and petalbreeze had been good friends ever since he joined the clan and he's always had a friendly soft spot for her, so seeing her like this makes his blood boil with hatred for their rotten and cruel leader.

Fogkit just teared apart a small mouse from the freshkill pile. She left the first half and went away with thr other half <Alright. This is enough for me> she thought while settling herself near the nursery. The kit took a bite from her meal - it was delicious and big enough to keep away the hunger

the large tom nodded slowly, "yes. gingerkit's not smart. but will petalbreeze be dumb enough to eat them too? that's the real question."

panting as hard as he possibly could, tornheart made his way towards duskstar and smoke. "i...i...finally found you two..." he said, struggling to speak normally. "we have a problem!"

the tiny, orange kit stepped out of the nursery while whiteflower slept peacefully. glancing around, he noticed fogkit and quickly made his way towards her. "hi, fogkit!" he squeaked, "what's up?"

he turns his head towards the newly emerged and out of breath tom, raising an eyebrow.
"don't worry, we're taking care of it."
He ponders for a second, thinking,
"actually..."
He looks from tornheart to duskstar, sharing a glance with the leader.
