Echo frowned when she saw the pain in his dark eyes, she gave him a quick nod, but still said nothing as she scanned the twoleg den. In the corner, on a higher shelf, as saw a dim white canvas spread over the wooden surface. She had not yet heard Ariska coming around the corner, and towards the door, but she knew that the she would wonder what was going on and follow them after a few minutes of waiting. Quickly, Echo padded over to were the canvas had draped to the floor, as grabbed the end in her mouth, and pulled the canvas off of the table. She dragged the sheet over to Jet, and Syren, and lay the end she was holding near Jet's paws so that he could cover her body, so that Ariska would not see.
