What about Phantom Thief Jeanne? It's an oldie magical girl show but the main character is the reincarnation of Jeanne D'Arc and she uses her skills in gymnastics to battle demons and escape would-be capturers. And in her ordinary, every day life she competes in competitions and is often seen practicing.

ohhh my godd that's the first anime I've ever watched ;o; (I have no idea how I found it though ;v; )

I didn't think anyone else knew of it... but yeah ;v;

The story's based off of some French History (Joan of Arc) and mainly things to do with Christianity (?) like God, angels and devils... The art style/animation is a bit old but I liked the plot and all ovo

As for anime recommendations, I'm not sure which you have watched and which you haven't so I'll just name a few that I really enjoyed ovo (sorry, I don't know any that involve dance or gymnastics ;v; )

-Tokyo Ghoul (ghouls...)
-Haikyuu (volleyball, gets really intense)
-Free! (swimming ;7; )
-Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun (somewhat shoujo but it's really funny)
-Durarara (different stories that merge into one...)
-Kimi ni Todoke (really cute shoujo anime)
-Ouran High School Host Club (it's "notice me kouhai")
-Owari no Seraph (vampires... sad stories)
-Orenchi no Furo Jijou (Merman in a guy's bathtub. Really funny ;v; )

It's basically this little girl who is named Duck, and at times she becomes kinda a swan lake-ish girl, and fights demons and stuff, its really cute.
