I would argue that the feathers are the 5th color of orange

Eyes? Yes. Can it see? Doubtful. The dog doesn't have a pupil, which is necessary to see or else the light wouldn't be able to get to the retina so the dog could perceive it. — ✘

There is no way we can tell if they can see or not based on the eye color. The fact that they were mentioning eyes and eyesight points me towards this dog even more

The mouth is clearly erased c:

I would say it has 3 tones of blue

If it is not correct, then this hint would fit

- None of the features on my final design are based on a bird, nor can my dog fly in any way. Instead, you may find my dog has something in common with a cricket.
I see nothing to suggest that the dog has anything to do with a cricket, unless perhaps the markings? And an analysis of the wings makes them appear to have a bird anatomy and feathers, though I doubt the dog could fly. — ✘
I believe that it has to do with some cricket types shedding their wings after flight. If it correlates with the "Fallen Angel" idea, then Angels fly, and if they fall they lose their wings.

You have said doubtful - it also doesn't mention that it has to "see" as we do. There is plenty of fiction etc that eyes like this can see, also can see as like an oracle type thing

So by my edits, I think this dog fits Schuyler's hints. But Id be keen to see something from them soon to put us out of misery lol

MY CONCLUSION: This dog is NOT Schuyler's!

Point a: clue said 'possibly' in transparent. Meaning that it had 'possibly' begun to grow by day 2. As in this was a red herring clue.

Point b: Dog is obviously based on a FALLEN ANGEL not a bird. It has broken ANGEL wings not bird wings.

Point c: Between th colors on the wings, body, and necklace I see all of them

Point d: the line art (I'm skipping the ones I agree with by the way) I think someone said the nose and ear looked diff then normal...lineart mod? Or could be red herring.

Point e: I see 3 colors in that fur. Blue, light blue, whitish. That's a Tri toned dog.

Point F: Open at the close. The dog went from a 'bud' during its pup phase to a 'blossom' in its adult phase. When a flower blossoms it 'opens'. Adult is last stage. So it 'opened at the close'.

My conclusion is that this IS Morningstar!
