Jinou laughed, though he was uncertain. He felt oddly like she was more that just a friend. "Sure," he responded anyway, keeping his voice even.
But that came to a question.
Why did he feel like that? He had known her for less than two days, and...?
Uh-oh. He had realised why this feeling was there.
He loved this girl.

Shuuka smiled. "Yay!" She grinned, before pulling Jinou into a hug. She felt something in the pit of her chest. She'd felt it before, but that was three years ago... She found it hard to believe, but she just had to admit it.
She was falling in love with him.
"Sorry about that, I'm a hugger." She said with a smile, slowly releaseing him from her hug.

Jinou laughed. "This is a record. I've never been friends"- he noted how he was telling himself how he felt more than friendship -"with some in less than two days." He also noticed how... nice it was to be hugged.

SHuuka smiled. "Me neither... But I like you, you're nice." SHe smiled, brushing her black hair from her one green eye, which was the only one ever visible through the mass of hair that covered her blue one. SHe smiled, watching Jinou. SHe honesty didn't know why she was falling for him. She'd told herself shewouldn't beause of all thse past failures; but somehow Jinou was... Different...

"I could say the same to you. It's different, being able to talk to someone like this. It's nice. You're nice." He half-smiled.

Shuuka smiled. "Thanks." She said, looking up as the mist formed around her, leading through the trees. "Hm? Looks like it's safe to travel again." She said with a smile, standing up. She grabbed Jinou's hand and pulled him up with her.

"Finally," Chuu mumbled, coming down from a tree.
"Chuu, you're turning into a monkey with all this tree climbing," Kenji joked.
Chuu glared at her and sighed. "We'd better get going."
Jinou nodded and stood up.

Ryu rose to his feet with a small sgh, shoving his hands into his pockets as he walked witht he group. Kazumi seemed to be off at the side a little, but that was norma. SHe still wasn't too happy about having to do this mission int he first place.

Chuu walked behind Jinou and Shuuka. With how they were holding hands she expected something was up, and wanted to investigate.

Shuuka was just, well, talking to Jinou. It came easily for her, talking to him...She was well and truly falling for this guy, ut she said nothing about that, though it was probably rather obvious. After all, she didn't know if he liked her back. Jinou didn't seem to mind holding hands, and SHuuka didn't mind either. Really, she didn't think of it as that much though...
